Joel Obi

A signing to strengthen Parma midfield. The meeting at Inter headquarters between everyone for Joel Obi has just ended. The player has also signed the contract and he is now a player of the Gialloblu. Joel Obi will go to Parma on loan without option to sign permanently and so after this season, the Nigerian should be back at Inter.

  1. Concerned fan says:

This is depressing. But I hope he plays well and stays healthy so he can comeback and earn his 1st team spot

  2. Mansour Al-Ahmadi says:

All what he has is speed , no ball control no good passes and no mind !

  3. Big Sexy says:

We need to see him play more, than we could judge him.

  4. Richard says:

I don’t hate Obi but I just say my opinion based on his performances
with senior team..Obi can offer us some versatility and pace but his
footwork is poor and he doesn’t have any composure..He tends to chase
player who carry the ball blindly..I rate Olsen slightly better than Obi
because Olsen is younger, calmer, and can play intelligence
pass..Remember the game vs Napoli in Meazza (giornata 6 season 2011/12),
that’s sum up all of Obi strengths and weaknesses..Yes, Gianluca Rocchi
ruined the match with that ridiculous sent off for Obi, there’s non
existing penalty, and Campagnaro’s goal should have been disallowed but
you can tell Obi’s performance from that game..The hype surrounding Obi
is just like the hype for Maa Boumsong,Maaroufi,Biava,Bolzoni,Krhin, and
Crisetig..In the end, they never live up to our expectations..
