The name of Giovanni Sartori, current director at Chievo, is the newest candidate to have a future role in Inter management. However, according to the Turin newspaper Tuttosport, the name of Leonardo is still lurking around the corner despite recent denials from PSG president. The paper also points out the difference between Sartori and Leonardo. The Italian director would only lead Inter to slight roster adjustments while the Brazilian would completely overhaul this Inter team from top to bottom, a real revolution in the technical aspect at the club. With the arrival of Leonardo, the job of Marco Branca is at risk due to “difficulty in collaboration” between both individuals.

We are already doing that withouth Leonardo. I wouldn’t like him back, Honestly.

I agree with you. He ditched us when we needed him most. I wont take him back free of charge. He used Inter to get back into football management

Exactly. Mourinho seens to like Leonardo a lot. How come Oriali didn’t receive the same treatment? He was the one that actually deserved it.

Oriali has faced an extremely treacherous sanction at Inter for preparing a purposely-falsified Italian passport for Àlvaro Recoba. He is superb at Fiorentina, but I don’t want us to go around creating illegitimate documentations and forging things. That’s not in Inter’s philosophy (though neither was it in Juve’s set of beliefs, and they sadly had their fair share of legal problems).

Wasn’t Oriali the sport director in chief, during those bad transfers in the nineties? It might be good that he won’t come back, we have begun our journey with this new project and it would only be counterproductive to take back persons in the director roles who have been let go. It might actually be the same with the manager post for Mourinho, well at least for next couple of seasons.

couldn’t be more agree on this. inter’s way is the hard way. not some cheat-paved silky way of those non pure serie A breed teams :P

I think we should give branca a chance, he has made good signings actually and i know he did a mistake when loaning livaja and brought rocchi. Thats the stupiest thing he has ever done. But… yeah.

    • Rafael Vieri

I don’t hate Branca like most people seen to do. he’s doing just fine. The only thing I don’t like is using our youngsters to pay less for other players. Other than that, this season he worked pretty well.

      • Sina

I have worked in the association football industry and I can tell you that Branca is world-class… one of the best technical directors in the world (despite having no prior experience), so it’s only a large percentage of angry Inter fans that want to impeach him.

        • Rafael Vieri

I see….I never understood why..but now that I know it’s not the majority of the fans who hate Branca, the world makes sense again.

        • DeJePeh

How could? At what parameter that Branca is a world class?
