An internatinal break is an opportunity for all teams to study their objective for the summer. As for Inter, the Nerazzurri will keep a close eye on Alexis Sanchez, Chilean forward and transfer target after this season.

Jorge Sampaoli, Chilean national team coach, wants to try him in a new role, one that he has experienced a few times at Barcelona. Sanchez, for these two matches with Chile, will play as the first striker, true number 9. Not only he can play as a winger or a second striker, playing as first striker is just another sign showing the flexibility of the 24 year-old player.

Not sure if he’ll do his best at that role. Besides, at inter we’ll have Iccardi and Palacio for that, so it will be interesting if Sanchez continue playing as a second striker or Winger.

If Cassano stays, a condition which is actually highly likely… as opposed to the promises of those silly Sky pundits, then the role will be a front-end winger… deep-lying and burying towards the side of the play. Hoping it all works out!
