Inter continue to point strongly towards Alexis Sanchez. According to Sport Mediaset, the Chilean could leave Barcelona after this season because he is only a substitute for Lionel Messi. For this reason, Sanchez would be willing to reduce his salary from 3 million to 2.5 million euros and Barcelona have no intention to keep the winger and thus, they are willing to sell for about 22 to 24 million euros. Inter, however, will try to pay for this figure in four years just like Milan did with Ibrahimovic.

That would be 6M euros a year. Worth it to Get Sanchez, Definetely.
The best player we can possibly get. I’m not sure it will happen on this terms though, because There tons of teams like Totteham, City, Malaga and others that could pay the full price at sight, which is probably what Barcelona wants.

tottenham and malago no, man city, juve yes

City would have to lower their wages and also sell someone first, due to FFP-rules.

        • Sina

And PSG are screwed for 2015-16 because of FFP. It gets to everyone eventually.

          • Herditya Pradipta

And we will the one who’ll laugh at the end.
It hurts, but it’ll be worth it.

€6.5M per year. We haven’t paid anyone this much for a long time… not since Ibrahimovic era, anyway. I think €6M mark was only Sneijder’s territory. At this rate, he needs to be our main scorer and score as many goals as Cristiano Ronaldo per season. Inter don’t have the habit of having overpaid strikers… not recently at least. Not saying that Sanchez has been one, but he sure is, during his spell so far at Barça.

      • Nizar Ali Bawazir

i think rafael mean 6 m came from 24 m divided by 4 year = 6 m per season to pay to bring sanchez to inter.. not the wage..

        • Sina

I have heard that his wage is even higher than this assumption. Close to the €12M marque. So if he cuts it by… let’s say… €3.5M, it’ll be approximately €8.5M. That’s still pretty astronomical for us.

And the price to bring him here will be as you said, if Barça accept a deferred payment. Something that they aren’t very likely to do. I know Inter is very lenient and easy-going financially, but isn’t Barça one of the stiffest teams in the world in the managerial accounting sense?

          • Nizar Ali Bawazir

how about when they let go ibra to milan.. and when the last time barca doing great in selling player..? €3.5M or even more i would gladly accept it if sanchez gave us the performance he used to be in his last year of his udinese day..

          • Sina

By no means do they make smart transfer decisions, but I believe I said they are amongst the stiffest financially, meaning that they are like penny-pinchers and want to get the uttermost out of deals. Ibra didn’t fit in Spanish football, especially Barça, where there is high creditability given to their number 10.

I, too, agree and hope very much for a return to the Italian football of his Days at Udine di Friuli for Sanchez, should he return to us. Then, everyone will be calling him the best player just because he scores the goals. Like the Eto’o days.

Imagine how many jerseys that will sell!

          • Nizar Ali Bawazir

            amen to that..

        • Rafael Vieri

          Exactly..

lets hope barca agree on paying in installments

    a good news indeed…

i cant believe that we are poor now…..

    • Faizin Setiadi

true INTER, sadly.. Thanks to Moratti spending spree for success Inter has nowadays..

    • ororo

long day has gone where moratti can just pump money into the club’s coffers. Now inter supposedly commited to the financial fair play rules, hence, transfer that depends on the club’s self generate income

    • http://twitter.com/ghuman1991 surya ghuman

i think it is a good thing…hope strama builds what everyone expects of him and management now has to think in sane minds and target potentials

      • Sina

Bingo! This exactly… it’s the journey along the way that counts to get that end result, not overspending for star players and coaches to get somewhere. That hasn’t been a philosophy of Inter (up until when Ronaldo came in… and now, Moratti is understanding that he needs to revert to the pre-1997 days when we were homegrown, not fed with high-price Ballon d’Or players/coaches).

Getting Sanchez makes sense, we need a player with his talent. If we’re able to pay form him in payments, thats even better. With a payment plan this will allow us to pick up another defensive mid, maybe Fernando or Nainggolan. If we want to break into the Indonesian market, we’ll need Radja. Just the shirt sales alone would help cover the transfer fee, kind of like Nagatomo’s shirt sales in Japan.
