UEFA Coefficients – Italy Falling Behind Germany

It seems like Italy will continue to only have three teams for UEFA Champions League. The latest UEFA ranking shows that Italy has quite a far distance away from Germany at almost -13 points but the shocking thing here is that, France is just 5 points behind. The only two representatives from Italy remaining in Europe are Juventus in the Champions League and Lazio in the Europa League.

            Thank you, so Italy will stil like this at least for 5 more years if Italian team just go like this every year.

            It could get even worse if PSG get to the semi-final… chances are that France may catch up and overtake Italy.

    Someone has to seriously explain me this system. The serie a teams did pretty good this season and collected the same amount of points or even more each matchday in the cl and el than the germans. We even knocked out two of their teams which brings in more points. How come that the gap keeps getting bigger and even france can overtake us when psg reaches just the next round. It doesnt make any sense. The germans lost so many games, even this passed matchday but keep collecting points?

      cause they have 4 teams in the ucl. we had only 2…stupid udinese couldn’t qualify waste of 3rd spot. A win equals 2 points and 4 bonus points for getting pass group stage. etc.

        They had 3 gladbach failed an i count the points and compare all the time and we are almost always on par cannot explain the margin of thousand points

    I think uefa is stupi. Series A is the best league in world but seria have 3 team in champions league and German have 4 team.
    I am inter fans but hope you’ve beat bayern munchen in champions.
