Sport Mediaset is reporting that the Nerazzurri have locked up the former Barcelona youth product after it was revealed the club has filed an insurance claim in Icardi’s name with Lloyd’s in London, one of the world’s most famous insurance services. The Nerazzurri want some sort of coverage if Icardi were to injure himself between now and the summer transfer, and thus protecting themselves if he were unable to start next season with the club. While the deal has not been made official, the fact that the Nerazzurri have looked into protecting their newest asset means that the heir to Diego Milito’s throne is closer than ever to securing a move the Beneamata.
More confirmation coming from the Gazzetta dello Sport. According to which, everything is done and the newspaper is certain that he will be wearing the black and blue shirt next season. The agreement is 13 million euros plus player(s). The player has a value of 15 million euros and so what remains is to decide which player will be included in the deal. Inter wanted to give Silvestre but Sampdoria are asking for one of Mbaye, Bardi and Longo.
