INTER, THERE’S SANCHEZ

Assault to Barcelona. Agreement with the Chilean then Montoya and Song.

The former Udinese player, already close to Inter in 2011, is ready to reduce his wages.

The dream is to complete the attack with Lennon.

Milan – As they are highly concentrated on hunting that third place, Inter are also preparing other big signings for the future. After having put their hands on Icardi, Andreolli, Botta, Campagnaro and Laxalt, the club of Massimo Moratti is close to another signing, a big one: Alexis Sanchez. The 24 year-old Chilean talent has no space at Barcelona and already has an agreement in principle with the club that had him on top of the list in 2011 before surrendering to the economic dominance of the Spaniards. Acquired in 2006 for three million from Cobreloa, after a season as a protagonist, Sanchez was able to earned 37.5 million for Udinese. All with a salary of close to 4 million per season.

Discontent and reduced But things did not go as he had hoped. During his first season for Barcelona, the Chilean played 25 matches and got 12 goals. This year, the situation is even worse with Sanchez more and more being left out. Tito Vilanova only started him 10 times and he has managed to score two measly goals. Now, Sanchez is back on the transfer market with rumors linking him to Juventus initially. However, Inter have taken advantage of the stalemate to re-establish contact with the representatives of the player. Happy to be in the center of the technical project, Sanchez has given the OK to reduce his salary.

Chygry and Ibra The rock at this point becomes Barcelona which want to at least break even in the investment that they made 18 months ago. However, the parties are working and do not forget the two cases in the past. The first is Dmytro Chygrynskiy, 26 year-old Ukrainian central defender, one that Barcelona overpaid for in 2009 (25 million) and then sold back to Shakhtar at half the price because he couldn’t settle to the new surroundings. But the situation that is more fresh and more striking is that of Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Just bought from Inter in 2009 for 70 million euros (50 plus Eto’o), the Swede never bonded with his teammates and Guardiola. Until the sensational move to Milan for “just” 24 million euros.

Dream attack That is why Inter are working on an agreement that does not bleed to death the coffers of the club (loan with right to purchase), one that guarantees to Stramaccioni a player that can actually dribble pass the opponents and is ideal for the 4-2-3-1, the preferred formation of the Inter coach. It is not a surprise that once they lost Sanchez, Inter tried in every way possible to bring to the city of Milan Lavezzi and then Lucas. Of course, they once again surrendered to the big money from the Qataris of PSG. With Icardi in front and Sanchez on his side, Inter would have a formidable attack. And the dream would be to complete this department, where Palacio is not going anywhere, with Aaron Lennon, speedy 25 year-old winger of Tottenham.

Song and Montoya But Inter are also working on other departments and once again with Barca, there have been contacts for Song and Montoya. The 25 year-old Cameroonian just came from Arsenal last summer for 19 million but the fact is that with Vilanova, he never plays. The 21 year-old Montoya, however, is the alternative to Sebastian Jung for the right-back position. Making the Champions League next season would be decisive to have the right appeal with these players.

Oooh GOD i hope this is true and we can again enjoy ton’s of Goals every match,..
But ofcourse we must not get ahead of oursels, anyway FORZA INTEEEEER!!!!!!!!

    • Wasim

This makes way too much sense, he can play in multiple positions, he can beat players, Has PACE, can play alongside, Milito, Palacio and Longo, nah too good to be true, I’ll believe this when official, our management surely doesn’t have the nous to pull this off, or do they? Anyways this would complete our attack for sure.

    Sanchez is enough i think…

  • Chalon

I am afraid that if this is really true, Handa may be the request of Barcelona to let Sanchez go. But I hope that is not the case…

    • jr

i like muslera. just saying. if we ever lose handa we should take a look at him.

      • Rafael Vieri

Muslera is a great Keeper, indeed. I would Welcome him at Inter. I think we should’ve signed him when we had the chance, even before he joined Lazio. Well, we tried…sadly, it didn’t work out.

But if Handa leaves, we’d still have Bardi, that will become a star player soon enough, so I guess we won’t see Muslera at inter regardless of what happens with Handanovic/Sanchez situation. Still, if I had to choose, I’d trade Handa for Sanchez and use Bardi. Everybody wins.

        • Mercer

To trade one of the best goalkeepers in the world for Sanchez would be one big mistake. Bardi is not ready for Inter and Muslera is not good enough. Going from Handanovic to Muslera would be like going from a Ferrari to a Renault.

    • hasse77

Then we should receive money or talented player from La Masia added to that deal, I personally value Handanovic to be worth more than Sanchez.

  • isaac

ok am i the only one not really excited with the sanchez rumors? he is too costly. im going to guess his price tag is at least 20mil. and for that much money, i would rather go for someone else(i would absolutely love tevez). anyways, i doubt these sanchez rumors will become anything.
lennon seems like a more realistic target. he is cheaper and just as threatening as sanchez.
also, instead of song and montoya, can we go sign cirigliano and peruzzi… please!

    • Στεφανος Τσουντας

Tevez has a ewaly HIGH salary…and he prefers milan instead of inter…but i think this summer his contract is expering so who knows…Firs 3rd spot then discuss on the players…

    • Zselic

a british player in Serie A sounds like a flop… i like him, but he’s better where he is right now

      • Storm Pooper

Somebody remember Paul Ince? He was great in Inter for the two years there, they offered him great contract renewal but it was his wish to go back in England. He is my reason to love Inter.

    • Ognjen Dakic

20 mil. is not too much for Sanchez who proved himself in Serie A…

Sanchez, Song and Montoya.. So get rid of Jonathan, Mudingayi, Gargano, Chivu and Stankovic..

    • Rotten E

      noo…jonathan is inter legend…even bale can’t pass him :D

    • Στεφανος Τσουντας

Stankovic and Chivu must stay to help the youngsters in training…

      • http://www.facebook.com/jeff.vincent.christian Vincent Christian

Stankovic and Chivu always want to play.. Cambiasso, Milito, Palacio, JZ4 are more than enough for the youngster..

    • Zselic

Mudingayi is the best ball winner we have…

      • http://twitter.com/O_omobecks Uche Esele Akahome

Thank you. I keep saying this. We have about 7cdms but the only good one is Mudingayi. Gargano is good at getting the ball but he doesnt know how to kick it.

Awesome news! Grande Inter is coming back!

  • http://twitter.com/Faridenilson Ahmed Farid

are you talking about inter or what we didn’t have a big sign since Eto’o looool

  • Memo

Sanchez is a top class player and i am happy with such news but i dont think sanchez will lift us up …he may be so good but we need someone bigger than sanchez …and we need a top class defender too

  • http://www.facebook.com/gawarikar Parth Gawarikar

First make the Champions League. Then we’ll see.

  • Kauko

Sanchez possible because Barca wants to get rid of him and they with do it the same way as with Ibra. But Lennon? Tottenham won’t let him go cheap and we don’t have any money.

  • POLISH PROUD

What is going whit our Managment? :)

  • interfan bucuresti

Why we need so much winger??? And when we get sanchez and lennon so botta an laxalt have to sit on the bench???

    • http://www.facebook.com/daniele.comitogianni Daniele Antonio Comitogianni

laxalt is too young and wont be on the first team, he might come on a few times but he needs more training

    • nbawiles

yes. experienced player is more important now.

  • QQ

Mr Moratti always gives a surprise for Interista ;)

    • eran

it isn’t suprised yet we didnt bought him.. we just talk like always antil in offical i dont belive

  • http://www.facebook.com/jeff.vincent.christian Vincent Christian

Yup, Sanchez and Schelotto for the right wing, in different side will
be Laxalt and Botta.. Guarin could play as right wing and Alvarez could
    play as left wing..

Our striker will be Milito, Icardi, Palacio, Longo and Cassano ( if he doesn’t leave )

What i say is Inter is complete in attacking department if we buy Sanchez..
    Inter doesn’t need Lennon..

    • Marlon

Not really. Far too many players for the lonely striker pos. and for the wings. We need to sell schelotto. Palacio and cassano are better on the wings too. And who is going to be the trequartista since strama is in favour of a 4-2-3-1 guarin should be deployed deeper and not be wasted on the wings or on the 10er position

      • slaze

        Diamanti trequartista

      • http://fedenerazzurra.com/ bd7

johnyy ! Cassano winger??? he cant run ! i saw him in Romania at Cluj live ..oh my God is such a pig ,slowmotion for real

  • iman

    wtf..

so why the last years? are there now chinese investors or is it massimo f..ed up by how inter regulary collapses in front of crap teams since treble season (starting with schalke, bologna, palermo etc) however hope true..

  • Marlon

Too many contradicting names for far too many spots where we already have players. Lets assume we will establish a 4-2-3-1 we have laxalt and botta( can paly rw too) for the lw. We have palacio and probably sanchez for rw. We are chasing both rightwingers in lennon and zuber. Who is going to play behind the lonely striker? Alvarez, cassano or even guarin who is a box to box mid. We need one rw and a trequartista like bellomo or quintero. I dont understand the central midfield part either. Kovacic is the distributor and we need a ball winning player like fernando, since all our current players suck. Where is guarin gonna play then?

    • slaze

Sancez,Diamanti and Fernando and we are set for scudetto!!!

  • Marlon

As far as i know the deal with the chinese is off the table, since they have massive internal issues. That is the reason why we chase other european partners for the stadium. In order to raise the necessary high funds for all mentioned names we will have to radically transform the team and sell a dozen players like stankovic, cambiasso to save on wages and get rid off schelotto, alvarez, mudingayi, gargano. I dont see that determination and conception on our side. At the end we will have an even larger packed squad with too many players on a few positions and lacking some on other important ones lie, the trequartista.

  • INTER FAN FROM HONDURAS

    TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE…[O_O]

  • Domenic

so basically this article says nothing

  • WarriorsOfIslam

Wake up everyone, please.. hundreds and millions of poor muslims are dying just because they refuse to obey the judeu-christian rule the so called democracy and forcing them to disobey all mighty allah. Wake up, even muslims in western world, please open your eyes!

    • http://www.facebook.com/fez22 Fez Faisal H

I am Muslim. I would like to tell you that this comment isn’t related to inter or the article. And what the hell are u talking about. …. wake up calls ?Here????? Are you ok?

      • WarriorsOfIslam

If you love allah, do not follow the rule of democracy. If you do that, you have said goodbye to islam and its sharia.

        • http://www.facebook.com/fez22 Fez Faisal H

my friend, in Islam we don’t say if you love allah then ….. remember what prophet Mohammed said, you have your religion and i have mine! such beliefs are very personal and you are violating what Islam (your religion) is teaching you, just like most of Muslims do. If you wanna do Da’wa you should do it at the right place with the right surroundings! not where readers are discussing football and their fav club’s news!

    • Ahmad Bilal

And i agree with you. This blashpemous rule should be destroyed asap.

    • Peter

Don’t take this the wrong way or anything, but this has no place on this site.

  • http://fedenerazzurra.com/ bd7

ah to good to be true..i imagine lennon and alexis wings..so much speed and a class playmaker for them even Diamanti it will be ok. or put Kovacic registra and Guarin back were he belongs (DM) , were he is such a class.
