UEFA President Platini: “FFP? Moratti Always Said To Me That…”

In an interview with the Gazzetta dello Sport, the UEFA president Michel Platini is back to talk about the Financial Fair Play and this process is managed.

“I do not know if PSG are a problem. What matters is that there is a system as well as penalties. I am not looking at anyone. Clubs know this and they have said yes to it. We have a moral mandate here. How many times do I have to repeat what Moratti, Berlusconi and others begged me to intervene and that ‘we cannot do this anymore?’”

    What does he mean when he says ‘We cannot do this anymore’??? Does he mean that Moratti and Berlusconi begged FOR FFP???

      yes, he said it couple of time. Because they are investing too much of theirown money into clubs… I think I read some place that since ’95 Moratti spent around 700 million of HISOWN money in Inter.

        Yep. Moratti is an advocate against “personal financial feeding” (which is what FFP essentially protects against, so that if club presidents invest a threshold of their net worth into the club, then there are penalties facing the organization. We are still paying for this from the Ronaldo and Vieri days).
