Luca Caldirola: “Inter is My Home. I will Go Back in a Heartbeat.”

Foto_Inter_002

Several media outlets, including Il Cittadino di Monza e Brianza (from Italiano, this translates to… The Monza & Brianza Citizen) report that Luca Caldirola has all but forgotten about Inter. In fact, he is working on improving himself further on in order to make way for a return to his home club of 13 years. “I still think of Inter. They still possess one-half of me in financial value. I hope to come back, and until this happens, I will not give up. Inter is my home. I have been there for thirteen years and developed. I grew mature there. In order to prove my worth, I need to be extraordinary and sharp during important showcases, one of which happens to be the European U-21 Championship, where I may get called.” Caldirola was sold, in a half-segment, to Cesena as part of the Yuto Nagatomo deal and currently plays on-loan for Serie B powerhouse Brescia. He was one of the prominent foundations of today’s planned youth project, Inter Primavera, in its current form. The center-back is often affiliated and rumored to be making a return for his home club, where he is seen as a successor to Cristian Chivu.

    Awesome job Sina.

    • Sina

Thanks, Michael! More to come in a bit… and then, I will hit the hay, wake up early, and start the next round.

Edit: Ditto to you, as well, on those new set of posts!

Lol you are my go to guy, don’t burn yourself out.

But then again, I am not like Inter. I am not going to treat you like Kovacic. GO OUT THERE AND DO YOUR THING.

Amazing. I have such high hopes about Caldirola and Andreolli. Two former primavera players coming back to inter together to shine. That’s just awesome .(Bianchetti, where are you?)

Nice to see you made it to high ranks of this site, Sina. You deserve it. We should have 300 of Sinas posting here. It would be awesome to read.

Keep up the good work, you all o/.

    • Sina

I KNEW you were going to like this one because you have talked about Caldirola many times before. This revelation (with Andreolli as well) is just remarkable!

High ranks? Hah! I serve the reader… you! No, really though… thanks a lot, Rafael. I still have a few of your other posts in my unread feed so I can get to them [whenever my spare time allows], but they are absolutely brilliant and you know I have always loved your commentary! They are actually meaningful, while mine tend to be a bit more on the dreary side… hehe!

      • Rafael Vieri

You might like my recent comment about Carrizzo on the recent thread about him. You know me, I like to talk about old players hahahahah

Well, don’t worry, read them whenever you have a chance, I know, sometimes it’s just hard to have the time to read them all. I Struggle sometimes too.

Your comments aren’t dreary at all…I like reading them.

Since we’re on the topic on former primavera players, where the hell is Bianchetti? Doing any good wherever he is?

        • Sina

I already saw it (seeing as to how I ridiculously have every new post open in a new tab on my browser) and I bookmarked it to get to it…. ahhhh… SOMETIME SOON! I seriously need to stop with the excuses.

Yep… our beloved oldies! Gives Inter character. See… you don’t find that with Madrid, Barça, and Chelsea now, would you? Hmmm.

You are most definitely empathetic in seeing the struggle to keep up with comments, especially now that I post as well. Thanks, much!

Yeah, Bianchetti plays in Hellas like…. once in a while… in a couple of friendlies, in some of the Primavera B matches, and a few substitute appearances at a Serie B level. Kind of sad that he’s getting this treatment… it reminds me of Longo in Espanyol.

He is a good player, talent and a italian also. Inter, Please bring him back. No more Bonucci case.

My PES team : Handanovic – Ranocchia – Juan Jesus – Zanetti – Santon – Poli – Pjanic – Kovacic – Coutinho – Alvarez – Destro. There are also Bianchetti – Longo – Livaja – Benassi – Mbaye – Duncan. Is this the team we can build without that Branca?
