        Well, the news story mentioned Inter were in the race before he went to Sporting… so this is much prior to the Man U years in reference. Hence were the “ultra low price” figure comes in as well as “Inter youth” (since at 18… he wouldn’t be part of Primavera anymore, but fed into the first team squad).

          Okay, just checked it out again and it looks like 1996-97, so a year after the Zanetti timeframe. This is long before Man U, indeed (2003-04).
