It is going to be a busy summer for both Inter and Bologna. These two clubs are probably going to do a couple of operations with one another in the next few months. In an interview with Tutto Mercato Web, Bologna director Roberto Zanzi discusses the latest on Alessandro Diamanti, Rene Krhin and Antonio Cassano.
The first topic is regarding Rene Krhin. The Slovenian midfielder is co-owned by both clubs.
“Let’s focus on the present which tells us that we have lost 14 matches out of 27. But regarding Rene Krhin, surely we have good relationship with both Inter and the player’s representatives. We will choose the best option for everyone.”
Next is Diamanti. The Italian has been strongly linked to a move to Inter in the summer.
“Diamanti and Inter? Only rumors from newspapers, there is no negotiation. It is normal that they are interested in our players but we must accomplish our goals first. Diamanti has shown certain maturity and is making the difference together with Gilardino. However, we must think about our upcoming matches, not the transfer market. There is still an objective to meet.”
Lastly, there was even talk of Antonio Cassano going to Bologna. Is this football fantasy?
“We are talking about a player that would be impossible for the economic conditions. It is nice to talk about it but we are not thinking about these things.”
