Andrea Stramaccioni Wants Aaron Lennon But There’s Problem

Aaron Lennon is a 25 year-old winger who has been at Tottenham since 2005. The player is proven to be a quality and capable player in the Premier League and is also a key player for André Villas-Boas.

Lennon, last summer, was linked to Inter in exchange for Julio Cesar. At the end, nothing happened as the Brazilian goalkeeper went to Queens Park Rangers. It is no secret that Andrea Stramaccioni would love to have Lennon on his team for his speed and elusiveness but this interest is extremely difficult to come to fruition because of the transfer fee. The price is close to 20 million euros, the figure that Inter have no intention to spend as the club is already in red zone financially (the deficit is 50 million euros in the past six months).

      If something, we sold Cou to overprice… Yes he got talent, but was unproven, instead we got a proven, younger and more talented player in Kovacic..

        unproven? he was fantastic during his loan time at espanyol. he was playing at wing alongside vladmir weiss at espanyol. we didnt give him the chance to shine, and i dont understand why strama never tried him on the wing but insist on playing him as central midfield.
