In the press conference with Liverpool, former Inter midfielder Philippe Coutinho looks back at his time in Italy with a hint of regrets.

“Sometimes I was disappointed because just like anyone else, I wanted to play. I always gave my all for Inter but it did not work. I need to stay long in a club and play in order to give my best.”

2 great assists and that really make us pissed off for letting him go..i just still cant move on from this coutinho transfer :(

Don’t worry too much, Ahmad. There’s a chance that we may get him again as there is a buyback clause on him locked to Liverpool (hence why the Reds are taking their time in repaying their debt to Inter). Once we may, it’ll be even better since he will be a speedy and quick, versatile player (from EPL experience) and will bring better pace to our game. I only hope Inter will use this clause.

would have been amazing to see Kovacic and play together coutinho. i like kuzmanovic and schellotto but i preferred if cou stay and we just add kovacic. This two player had been the inters future. Sorry for my english

This kid is worth for every penny, i feel the management pissed me off…

    • ororo

he is easily worth around 25 million euro now

  • casperv

he stayed two years, but couldn´t make in a big club – now he’s in a club without that much pressure, and that suites him well..

  • ash

He was never going to work in italy his type is more fit for epl.

  • ororo

It hurts me so much everytime i see him with liverpool’s jersey. HE SHOULD HAD NEVER BEEN SOLD. He has great pace and crossing/passing ability (great attributes for a winger), he plays as a left wing forward with liverpool… which works wonders with him, and liverpool are benefiting from it. My question is why strama never deployed him on that position but insist on instilling him as a midfield playmaker during his playing time with inter? And as everyone can see from the rumored inter transfer target, we are looking for wingers… and most of them are priced more than we recieved from liverpool for Cou’s transfer… WTF

  • Domenic

this should go down as our stupidest transfer of the modern Inter …i’m still fuckin baffled by the sale of this kid

  • n1tefury

I say it again, that has been the case at inter for sometime now. We just don’t have the guts or trust in our young player to play them regularly or consistently. How can they show their potential if we don’t play them regularly. And one more, i think we want instant impact making much more pressure for them. Patience is the key in young player.

  • Nathan

who’s coutinho’s replacement at inter now? schelotto? not even close. such a waste that Inter sell this unique player who just need more time to prove himself worthy.
