After the recent incidents in Rome and Lyon where their supporters got attacked, Tottenham Hotspur are thinking of all possible measures to protect their supporters for the Europa League match against Inter. The English club confirmed today that the club will appoint a security officer for the match against Inter Milan at the San Siro stadium on Thursday, March 7. The club will also hold discussions with Inter Milan, the Foreign Office and UEFA about providing police protection the night before the match. It will also ensure Metropolitan Police work with police in Italy to discuss fans’ safety ahead of the tie.
