Sky – Stramaccioni To Play Cassano As Lone Striker Versus Catania

A good day of training for Inter at Appiano Gentile today. In particular, as reported by Sky Sport 24, much attention was paid to the flanks where Inter had problems dealing with Milan players in the recent derby.

Against Catania, Alvarez and Schelotto are candidates for the starting lineup in a trident with Cassano as the only first striker. Also good sessions for Cristian Chivu who could be the starter against Catania given the absences of Ranocchia and Walter Samuel.

In the midfield, Stramaccioni should have more solutions with Kovacic, Cambiasso and Kuzmanovic as the favorites to play from first minute.

    As much as I’d love to see Alvarez and Schelloto playing from the start, really think if there is going to be a lonely striker, it has to be either Rocchi or Palacio. Cassano drifts away from matches way to much to lead a whole attack line by himself.

      That midfield lacks energy and bite. Gargano is a must in place of either Kuz or Cuchu.
