Commenting on the amazing saves of Samir Handanovic against Mario Balotelli, Marco Materazzi, a guest in the studios of Gazza Offside, discusses the ruole of the Slovenian keeper and Milan striker.
“They were both protagonists in his match. Balotelli did not score because he was denied by Handanovic. There is no doubt that Milan could have a 2-0, 3-0 lead in the first half. It was good to see Inter raising in the second half with their heart, finding a beautiful goal though that was the error from Milan defense. Both teams could really win at the end.”
Quick thought on Cassano. “I like him. He was the only ‘light’ that Inter had. Playing in an attack with only Palacio and Guarin is difficult.”
