Intercepted by the reporters waiting outside his office, Massimo Moratti talks about the negative performance of the team in Florence yesterday.
“There is not much to comment on, taking the field yesterday was only one team. We can only talk about Fiorentina and that was it.”
On Stramaccioni, however, Moratti justifies the young coach’s mistakes: “I am not going to condemn him. This year, he began to have a different experience from the previous one and he can make mistakes. I do not think that all the mistakes belong to him. I cannot say that his is solely his fault because there were also 11 players that took the field. Luckily, matches like yesterday do not happen often.”
But when asked about if the derby is decisive for him, Moratti replies: “What kind of talk is that?”
Here is the comment on the derby: “I expect the derby to be a fight. My anniversary as president? I did not know that I have been leading Inter for 18 years, I hope to celebrate with a win on Sunday.”
Lastly on the chants between both fans on Milito and Balotelli. “That point of view belongs to the fans. I only talk about the match and the derby is going to be a fight.”
