A great talent for Inter’s present and future. Inter have closed negotiations for Mateo Kovacic who comes from Dinamo Zagreb as a result of the decisive blitz today in Croatia by agent Bozzo, an emissary of Inter. This is the figure: 11 million plus bonuses and the transfer is official. Kovacic is a midfielder with great quality. He was born as a trequartista with velvet feet and vision. With time he matures ad becomes more of a complete midfielder with characteristics of a midfield director. Certainly he can improve much more and the sky is the limit for him.

Kovacic is Croatian but he was born in Austria. Started playing for his hometown in Lask Linz when he was only six years old. At 13, he moved to Croatia, to Dinamo Zagreb and despite his young age of 18 years old, he has played 12 matches in the Champions League. For two years, he was the starter in the first team and scored five goals in the league, the first came from his debut when he was only at 16 years and 6 months old. Signals of a true talent which many consider to be the next Modric. Kovacic was wanted by big European clubs, two in Manchester and Real Madrid. Last year, Arsenal offered 8 million to try taking him away from Dinamo.

He is only 18 years old but already played on the big stage at the Santiago Bernabeu. Young, experience, talented, all signs of a baby champion. This is Mateo Kovacic, the new Inter signing.

        Dude, fuck Paulinho, he’s made it perfectly clear he doesn’t wanna join us, he’s overpriced and he is unproven. I’d take kovacic over paulinho, he’s cheaper and younger with CL experience. I regret us wasting time on paulinho, but fuck it, we’ve got a good lad in kovacic. And a bargain in kuzmanovic. I only hope we don’t try to waste our money on paulinho in the summer. And invest in a proper centre back and striker.

          Unproven? He was the star of the World Championship team. Kuzmanovic is a bench warmer. Kovacic is the unproven player.
