Sky: Inter Use Paulinho Money To Buy Kovacic

Where did we get 15 million euros from? And to offer that to a 18 year-old? This is all madness. According to Sky transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, that money is saved up for Paulinho. “Andrea Stramaccioni pushed very hard to sign Kovacic. Inter decided to spend the money saved up for Paulinho to make this investment,” said Di Marzio.

The main goal of Inter this month has always been signing a quality midfielder and many believe that Inter have exactly that in Mateo Kovacic.

    they sold cou for about 10mil? and got this kid for 15mil, same position 2 years younger……dont really see the logic in it. cou never got a real chance. just hope this kid is worth the hype.

      hmmm… you got your number wrong… Coutinho is sold for Euro 13.5 plus bonus, while Kovacic bought for Euro 11 plus max 4 bonus

      Ok, just checked some youtube clips of him. He plays more of a CM role but can play as AM as well. He can push the pace and push the ball very well. I think I understand stramas vision a bit, hes tryna build a strong physical team. like I said, hope hes worth the hype!!

      cou is a trequartista. cou is talented but i think he can’t adapted with italian football.

    This guy is special… When play as CMF, he’s more like pirlo or veratti, but when play as AMF, he more like Belhanda or Modric… They way he dribble remind me about modric and Isco…

    I love when he play as deep lying midfielder, i love when he run and pass 1 2 3 players… But he need to make his pass more precise…

    The more i love about him that he is 18 years old and already the leader in midfield for Dinamo Zagreb…
