Corriere dello Sport: Number 10 Shirt To Mateo Kovacic

Mateo Kovacic is officially an Inter player. As reported by the Corriere dello Sport, the young Croatian talent will take the number 10 shirt left behind by Wesley Sneijder. Kovacic was acquired for a fee of 11 million plus 4 more in bonuses. The newspaper also confirms the arrival of Schelotto and Kuzmanovic.

        Come on mate. Move on. True Inter fans had seen many talented youngster left the club namely Pirlo, Santon, Balotelli, Roberto Carlos, Mikael Silvestre etc. So losing Coutinho only to be replaced by Kovacic is not a bad thing.

        Well.i think by selling cou and buying kov means that morratti really believed in strama..he’s willing to sacrifice cou because cou doesnt fit with stramma’s tactic..he instead buys a CM in kov…i think we should also support strama for the rest of this season..let see if he can manage inter to get into CL..if not then maybe we could forget strama and thus paulinho

    Although I am ecstatic that we finally bought a potentially promising player, I still believe that Belhanda would have been a good, and possibly better, buy as well. Belhanda is much more experienced and proven and would fit it quicker than Kovacic.

    He wears #10 shirt, which means he may not play as deep lying playmaker, which means Inter still lacks a true registar. Stramma has not been very fond of playing a trequastista behind the two strikers. Selling Coutinho and buying Kovacic is really strange.
