PAULINHO, MISSING THE YES FROM MORATTI

Perhaps the medical example is already today with Liverpool.

Then Inter will decide whether to push for the midfielder.

Milan – Let’s put it this way: the table is set, there is still missing the definitive OK from the Great Chef. The Great Chef is Massimo Moratti and the yes or no to making an effort to sign Paulinho should arrive today once you have the certainty of the real cost of this operation. “Paulinho? – says the Inter boss – Of course he costs a lot and he is an important opportunity that we will evaluate in the coming days.” The logic, sporting wise (Serie A table and Champions League prospect), says that the events of Coutinho and Paulinho should be  closely linked together but at this point it is possible that two operations are being assessed separately. Also because Corinthians, according to Brazilian sources, would like to postpone selling Paulinho until July. In short: the Great Chef is considering, deciding, and he cannot pay attention the voices “within” that hinder  the opportunity of an immediate operation.

Cou for 12.5 Yesterday started the decisive contacts with the emissaries of Liverpool led by managing director Ian Ayre. The Reds men should still be in Milan today to define the transfer of Philippe Coutinho on the basis of 10 million pounds plus bonuses, so around 12.5 million euros. In England, they say that today the Brazilian could already have a medical for the Reds which is completely plausible since we are already on January 28 and all deals must take great quickness in deciding them. Coutinho, with the Reds, will probably sign a four-year deal. “There are important opportunities to be seized – says Moratti -, sometimes for other players may be possible to have more space and so I think that for Coutinho, England could be an important opportunity.” Bye bye Cou.

Reflection and figure At that point – but only with Coutinho surely is leaving – we will know the consent of Moratti on other operations. There are those in the club who believe that it is the top priority to save up for June and the money made from selling Sneijder for 7.5 million (plus bonuses) and the millions of pounds from Coutinho can be a good reinforcement economically for Inter to think big in the summer (Dzeko, Icardi…). However, the number one objective for this season can be the difference and that is making the Champions League. It is important to be in the top European competition because of the revenues and also the prestige that goes along with it. And a Paulinho more – coaches at Inter are convinced in the player – could help the race to 2nd-3rd place. So everything depends on the exact figure for the acquisition of Paulinho, a figure that today will be evaluated definitively by Moratti.

We’ve wasted the whole transfer period over this, and we still don’t have the main man’s yes………………..

Im really disappointed like most of you but lets just try to give Moratti the benefit of the doubt till after the transfer window is closed.

    Like what michael said…

    Coutinho gone, and paulinho doesn’t come… We’re screwed…

  • http://www.facebook.com/andrew.harding.313 Andrew Harding

We need at least 3 more players to make the CL if Coutinho is sold – DM, AM and RWB.

      AND A FUCKING STRIKER!

I’m beginning to suspect that Moratti is the only competent figure in our management. He seems to have a calculating temperament, and I trust him to make the correct decision on the basis of the information he is given. However, I don’t believe in Strama’s ability to identify talent and construct a strong footballing side (and the less said about his game day tactics, the better), nor in Branca’s ability to negotiate a beneficial deal.

Too many jumped on the Strama bandwagon without proper justification. I’m beginning to hope that Moratti uses the funds acquired from the sale of our two most talented players, and uses it to lure Mourinho back to the helm.

mourinho would not comeback to us in short time maybe later after we have our new stadium. you know mourinho want a huge transfer budget to upgrade the team. we could not afford it at the moment.

Fellow interistas, success does not come overnight. That is all.

Paulinho better come after this shambles of a mercato so far,
and he better be heaven sent.
Even though honestly, I think Nainggolan wouldn’t be bad at all, save us about 10M and he’s already proven, is young, and that way we could spend elsewhere…oh wait, thats too rational. nevermind.

    and so we wait.

  • Deemon

Guys just to be on the safe side dont keep your hopes high you know paulinho is not sure yet and he might not come

  • INTer

3 days to go better faster or we get another palombo again like last season.

  • sad times

Why are we still meeting and talking figures moratti? We’ve been after this guy since the dawn of time and branca has gone to Brazil twice to get him!? Am I wrong in thinking we Should know them by now! And Strama you coached the livaja, Longo, bessa etc and won the next gen, you know these players well and never bloody pay them and yet insist on gargano , mudingyi qnd bloody periera, and a past it chivu! And brilliant work by giving the ok for tomasso rocchi! Board, branca and Strama out! First thing bring back oriali who should never have been pushed out the door!!!

  • ahmad

i personally think we dont need paulinho. he’s not a regista though he might be a good player. so, in this case moratti wont sign paulinho. i even expect to have biglia or nainggolan and a right full-back. that will make more sense since the board keep whining about economic situation.

btw, 3 defenders apparently is not much better than 4 defenders. we can go back to old formation 4-3-1-2, 4-2-3-1, or even 4-3-3. although, our current coach is just a pussy but at least he still got his assistant or someone else outhere to help him out..i still and will always love this club despite knowing strama plays so disgusting tactic and have shitty board

  • Herditya Pradipta

    Paulinho can’t save us.
We need a creative player judging by the way we played. No definitive character and vision.

    • http://www.facebook.com/patar.hatigoran Patar Ronnie Hatigoran

And strama doesn’t like creative midfielder… He loves power and physcic players…

  • ROUDY

okay…im getting sick from all this….the most frustratiing thing is when we play like shitt!!! like we did yesterday and the coach says we are gd like that!! fuck strama! and fuck branca! no identity no play no atttacking football…thank god mudingay is injured ! hes terrible…quite frankly…10 players have to b sold…we have a mediocre squad! when u start a project! u dont buy rochi! and u dont sell ur attacking midfielders! coutinho and sneider and u get rocchi? we have 150 DMF and we get rid of our attacking midfielders!
now for branca!….perreira?! cannot dribble cannot cross..what is he gd in? nothing ..nagatomo is terrible as well…get rid of them..release stankovic , milito ,, jonatha.n.. samuel..silvestre..gargano do not buy him…send him back to napolli…SELL THEM!! AND PROMOTE YOUNGSTERS FROM OUR YOUTH SYSTEM..PLAY YOUNGSTERS + KEEP COUTINHO + GET SOME YOUNG PROMISSING LADS IN THE SUMMER! LIKE QUINTERO , EVEN WEISS IS GD COMPARED TO THOSE WE HAVE..GET ONE TOP CLASS STRIKER + LONGO AND LIVAJA AND PALACIO AND THE ATTACK IS COMPLETE! PLAY OBI BESSA BENASSI MBAYE LIVAJA LONGO THOSE YOUNGSTERS ARE OUR FUTURE AND THEY ARE BETTER THEN THOSE ON OUR SQUAD NOW…WE MIGHT STRUGGLE NEXT YEAR BUT WHO CARES!! THATS HOW NEW PROJECTS START! U DONT START THEM WITH ROCCHI!!!
AND SACK STRAMA! GET MONTELLLA OR A DECENT COACH! IF IM BEING WRONG PLZ SOMEONE TELL ME…

    • kirei

Keep Strama! He the one who great working with Youngsters

    • Jarx

Fuck u too, i think if inter just do what u said and then it turns out our young player playing like shit you will blame branca or moratti or any1,,
      Fuck u too then
In strama i trust, in this management i trust!
I Love this club since 1998, and i remember we cant win a trophy, and then come our glorious moment with mancio and mourinho, then this dark moment again, and i believe the glorious moment will come again :)

  • qqq

    what the fuck?!
eryone might think that the selling Cou means the purchase of Paulinho, but Moratti still not decided yet?
damn i dont really get this
the management of Inter kills itself

  • neroblue

How far we’ve fallen since winning the treble. This last game was just further proof that we have major gaps in our squad. For crying out loud Moratti go out and get Belhanda, he wants to come to Inter, unlike Paulinho. Belhanda can be picked up for 10 million, and he would give us an attacking dimension we don’t currently have. Nainggolan would also be a worthwhile signing, he would pair nicely with Guarin. Nainggolan wouldn’t be cheap, but he’s a better option than Paulinho. Hopefully, 10 million and co-ownership would close the deal. One last thing, we need Andreolli, Chivu is hurt again and Samuel is 35-years-old with a achilles tendon injury. I hope we can get a top striker this summer, I think Bezema is a much better fit than someone like Dzeko.

    • Zselic

Andreolli’s not even playing at Chievo, why the hell do we need him? he’s a poor option

get Douglas and even Kuzmanovic, both have expiring contract within 5 months. the two of them would cost 5-6m, plus Belhanda for 12, and we spent 18 for 3 players…

  • roudy

guys dont hope too much who bets that well end up with genoa’s marco rossi?:P our management is confused wether to opt for busquets , fabregas , ramires , carrick , marchisio or marco rossi …but they are wise enough to choose rossi cz its a new project guys:P

  • Zselic

“think big in the summer (Dzeko, Icardi)”

    thats ridiculous

  • A~Nerazzurri

we need 3 or 4 new player and only 3 days left to finish transfer market . we lost time for money … we need new president . rich president xD

I cannot understand Inter management. As already said in the comments here, Belhanda wants to come to Inter, the club would allow him to leave at 12 million; and he is a creative AMF that we desperately need. However, needless to say, we also need a good central defender, a right winger and an out-and-out striker to assist Palacio. If it were up to me, I’d buy Belhanda, Douglas, Weiss and Icardi respectively.
