Signing Paulinho is the first desire of Andrea Stramaccioni. As explained by Sky Sport, the coach wants only one name for the midfield and that is Corinthians midfielder Paulinho. It is almost an obsession that lasted for months but it is going to take 15-18 million plus sacrificing Coutinho for the 24 year-old Brazilian. The cost of this transaction does not convince Massimo Moratti. The president has doubts and wants to evaluate everything but at this time, he is not certain about this deal.

What have these Paulinho sucsess in his live? Scoring goals at the brazil league is not difficult!! He have never playes in Europa and is really expenisve!!!! Why we cannot sign only Belhanda and Andreolli. Maaan this is a fucking Inter projekt if we sell cou sneijder and get rocchi who is total uesless. (Dear) Moratti heard what we Inter Fans want and not only Branca these fucking Bastard who is definitely a Milan fan who want to ruin Inter!!

    • Lucas

If he had listened to what Inter fans want, he would have to buy every single so-called “talent” from Football Manager game.

      • hasse77

Well Guarin was a class act talent in the FM-games, when he still was playing in Colombia back in the days. Just sayin’… ;)

So was Zlatan, Kompany, Falcao and many others. ^^

        • Lucas

Same as Saviola, Adu, Samba, Bojinov and many more. But that’s not the point here.

          • hasse77

Yes, I agree with you. Just wanted to post a rather meaningless comment. :)

      • POLISH PROUD

really everyone here want that inter sign belhanda instead of paulinho.. :D

        • Lucas

          Which is a lie.

    • Thiago

He won the Brazilian League, the Copa Libertadores, the World Club Cup… Is it enough for you?

      • http://www.facebook.com/simonbobo Simon Sønderskov Iversen

And have played for the national team with goal against opponents like Argentina

  • ahmad

good now bring patcovich , and fuch starama!!!

  • Sina

In the midst of Strama’s obsession and childish play on wanting Paulinho so desperately and badly… and of course Branca’s legendary idiocy, thank you Massimo for your common sense and rational logic.

Glad we’ve someone we trust that still use his brain…

  • Marlon

Dont professional clubs do that way before a transfer window stars. Ah wait we have no concept. Amazing a week before the window closes and we literally sold our two creative brains to get that guy, we start to have doubts? I start to feel incredibly sick before i cone here to find out what great news today they have in store for us

    • Sina

Always a welcomed insight. Sold our two creative brains? From my understanding though, we’ve only sold Sneijder and bought no one but the other half of Benassi.

  • Víctor J. Ulloa

What the hell happened to that Moratti who gave us Ronaldo, Zamorano, Recoba, Vieri, Ibrahimovic, Eto’o??? Are Inter that that that poor? That we even have to sell our starlet to buy this brazilian guy?? FUCK BOCA JUNIORS…if they had won the Copa Libertadores, Paulinho’s price tag would not be this stupid amount, would be around $8 mill and we wouldn’t have to sell Cou7inho…..

    • Maestro

He isnt. Quite the opposite actually. It is ffp rules that wont allow him to spend from his own money that much anymore

  • http://www.facebook.com/gawarikar Parth Gawarikar

Oh good, now we’ll start fighting with the coach and miss out on Paulinho and Belhanda, not to mention that we’ll sell Coutinho and/or Alvarez nonetheles…………

  • Rafael Vieri

I’ve said before and I’ll say it again
We have players with the same characteristics that we’re not even using ( Mariga)
there is no point in signing this guy.

He’s been doing great at Brazilian League but so did Jonathan and well, look how good he is at Inter haha.

    Enough talking about that guy.

    • Chris

Jonathan has got nothing on Paulinho. Paulinho is a regular starter for the Brazilian national team, whereas Jonathan has always been crap in my opinion, and hasn’t ever featured for the national team.

      • Thiago

He didnt play that well for Cruzeiro or Santos, btw.

      • Rafael Vieri

        Take Vargas as an example.
He was voted the best south american player in 2010. Napoli signed him as a start and he never made the money’s worth.

Paulinho, surprisingly wasn’t even on the list of the the best south american players in 2012 ( I believe Neymar won).

The fact that Paulinho is on the national team does not mean anything, sometimes the player is just not worth that much, inspite of how good he is, because there’s no guarantee he’ll adapt well in Italy.
Juan is not on the national team and people here judge him to be a great player…

I guess I’m saying is I’m not against his signing, if we could get him for 2 to 5 M euros I’d say let’s give a shot. But 18 M euros + letting Coutinho/Alvarez Go?

No, thanks, let’s just leave him there at his club and find ourselves a better and cheaper option.

        • Thiago

well, go buy neymar for 2 to 5 mi then…

  • Thiago

By watching this guy weekly, I can tell you that there’s not many better defensive/central midfielders in the world. And… why the hell would Corinthians want to sell him? They just signed Pato for 15mi euro (and others, so they have $money$), won the Libertadores, the Club World Championship… Why would he leave the best team in the world?

    • http://www.facebook.com/simonbobo Simon Sønderskov Iversen

If we are going to pay the clause the club can do nothing, only the player can say no..

      • Thiago

That is not that simple. FIFA’s ruling states that in international transfers, the club is protected in the first 3 years of contract (if player has 28 yo or less, 2 years if 29 or more). Check Article 17 of FIFA’s Regulation on Status and Transfer of Players and the meaning of Protective Period.

        • franc

corinthians are not the best team in the world, chelsea nearly beat them and they are out of the ucl and 3rd in the prem and the reason why corinthians can spend is because there wage bill in less than a quater of inter’s. If we had corinthians wage bill, paulinho would be ours . Plus the reason why he would want to leave is because playing against the likes of juve, milan, napoli roma is better than playing against rubbish brazilian teams.
Btw i dont want paulinho, i want coutinho to stay

          • Thiago

Ok, Fluminense, São Paulo, Santos, Grêmio, Internacional, etc… all rubish teams now. Glad to see how limited is your scoop regarding football

          • Thiago

btw, you do know Paulinho is a defensive/central midfielder, in no way he plays in the same position as sneijder and coutinho

  • mr. Pink

Well the last time the big M was not conviced of a player the coach really wanted was ricardo the gipsy quaresma , we all know how that ended…
