Talking to Sky, Roberto Perrone, a Corriere della Sera journalist, states his onion on the possible sale of Philippe Coutinho for the arrival of Paulinho.

“So far, Coutinho has never done anything nor seemed to be a phenomenon. For this reason, in my opinion, selling him at these figures (12-13 million) would do Inter good. Then maybe in a year, he would win the World Cup as a protagonist but right now in my opinion, this solution is an intelligent one.”

    Take a break michael…
I’m sure you have somethings else to do…

    • http://FedeNerazzurra.com/ Michael

I am working as we’re speak. Multi-tasking master that is me.

  • Steven Heryanto

    evil journalism!

  • Rafael Vieri

He’s got a point, but sometimes you just have to look at the big picture. He is talented and he didn’t have the time yet to prove himself. I know, most of his presentations at inter were above average, specially in his first spell at inter, but that doesn’t mean we should sell him yet because from what I’ve seen in his second time with us, he’s improved drastically. He came back from spain looking like another Player.

Money is important, sure, but maybe we should just try getting it some other way.

Because strama just want paulinho, paulinho, and paulinho… He is the one who push coutinho out when he want to stay…

  • Ognjen Dakic

    Exactly!

  • aviv

fuch you Roberto Perrone, coutinho say he love to be in inter and fight for his place, this is the player we need

  • http://twitter.com/HamdanHamedan Hamdan Hamedan

Your point is well taken from economic standpoint. But once Inter sold him, he would be gone for good. If history serves as lesson, there would be no reunion after he became a top player (hence expensive) whom we knew he would be in the not too distant future. Would Inter board be willing to repeat Destro, Pirlo, Santon, etc. cases?

  • Adolf

Inter isnt goina be a good team anymore.
But i will keep supporting them no matter what happens.

  • BULLET

I think this “journalist” needs to stop smoking crack!! Coutinho can’t become a phenomenon if all he does is sit on the bench. Give Strama the boot.

  • http://www.facebook.com/michelkupelian Michel Kupelian

i dont think he’s leaving and i hope the next news we hear is that we DON’T want paulinho anymore!

  • http://www.facebook.com/gawarikar Parth Gawarikar

Michael, as much as I love this club, I seriously realise that there will be no more signings in this transfer window. We’ve given up on Bellomo till June, given up entirely on Belhanda, Paulinho isn’t interested in coming…………in short, we’ve given up on the season itself. Better you get us news when something gets confirmed, though I doubt anything other than Cou’s departure will…………..

    • Sina

Think about it… do we really ‘need’ to sign this transfer window or do we just ‘want’ to do so? A ‘need’ and a ‘want’… two different concepts. Just because we don’t sign anyone in the transfer window, doesn’t necessarily mean that we’ve given up on the season. Enhancements can be achieved from within. We’ve got some awesome players as of now already… and by feeding more of the Primavera into the first team squad, as well as playing in more consistent levels with better-attributed formations will lead us to success, at least in the top 4 of the league (where we currently stand) and pretty well far out into EL. Maybe even a Coppa Italia Final like Baresi noted!

      • http://www.facebook.com/gawarikar Parth Gawarikar

The level of involvement Primaver players have in the current squad, I don’t think its going to change in the near future. Strama continues to chase Paulinho, wh doesn’t want to come. I am ready to accept that the youngsters are good enough to step up, but it doesn’t matter if the coach and the management doesn’t agree, does it??? Liverpool were in a worse place at the start of this season, but they’ve given their youngsters a chance and have had so many revelations. Although they are still in a worse place…………. but that is because their youngsters are not as talented as ours. But it doesn’t matter if Inter don’t play their youngsters, does it???

        • Sina

Exactly… so, it’s pretty given that the management and coaching needs to take the blame here? I’ve always thought we should act less like Man U, Real, City, PSG, Chelsea, and more like the old Barca and Liverpool. Less buying, more developing.

          • http://www.facebook.com/gawarikar Parth Gawarikar

Bang on. The management needs to realise that they are no longer the most wanted club in the world (frankly they weren’t even in 2010). If they are really are working on getting players in June, why not let Coutinho and Alvarez stay??? Why are Inter ‘stalking’ Paulinho??? Don’t they understand what ‘NO’ means???

          • Sina

Hit the nail on the head… frankly, Paulinho wants to remain at Corinthians and even if Strama manages to bring him over to Inter, he most likely won’t play as well because he’s psychologically/mentally not satisfied at where he is. So… why the obsession over him? Hopefully, we can just end this nonsense soon enough. Rocchi is enough. No more!

Other clubs are fighting over their dinner about how they need to find the best formation possible in their difficult upcoming matches and we’re here, stuck… mystified perhaps… at the sheer quality of our top level management.

          • http://www.facebook.com/gawarikar Parth Gawarikar

Latest news from Gianluca Di Marzio is that Inter have agreed 13m payment for Coutinho and Branca will now leave for Brazil to get Paulinho. I hope he brings him back in chains if he doesn’t want to come, ‘cos there’s no way we are losing Coutinho just to listen to him tantrums.

          • Sina

Wow, this sucks so much. I had doubts it would happen, but it looks like the deal went through. 13M is nothing for Cou. We just screwed ourselves over again. Is this from Southampton? Yes, I have a feeling that neither Cou or Paulinho will play at their best since they’re unhappy with where they’re at. Not sure if Cou will ever return to Inter again. What a loss… guy’s going to shine in the Brazilian National Team later and he won’t be at Inter in the meantime. And Paulinho? I watch Flamengo, Santos and Corinthians matches on an avid basis, and I think he’s alright, but no where near the Neymar, Ganso, and Moura hype that he’s earning. Cou is closer to the latter three than this guy is. What a loss, indeed. Thanks for the update, Parth.

          • http://www.facebook.com/gawarikar Parth Gawarikar

Actually Di Marzio says that the deal is with Liverpool………….. so maybe Coutinho gets his wish…………… I hope Paulinho finds it in his heart to loove this club as much as we do…………..
Anyway, @InterForever87:disqus needs all the help he can get, so…………….. let us hold a minute’s silence in honour of the player who could’ve been.

          • Sina

Oh, wow. Well, maybe Cou will be the future of Liverpool then. I suppose it’ll show Branca and Strama what they’re missing out on. Paulinho… *sigh*

Good words. @InterForever87:disqus won’t be too pleased with this.

          • http://www.facebook.com/gawarikar Parth Gawarikar

Well, the hype that has been built around Paulinho……………. I just hope that IF he comes, we should give him a fair chance and not make another mistake.

          • Sina

If he comes, he’ll be a starter for sure. What club other than Madrid would spend nearly €18M on a sub? So the only fair chance we can give him is respect. And he’ll need to translate it into success for all of us, even though he is not truly a Nerazzurri. If he turns out to be another Forlan in our setup, then we’ll be awing and grinching in pain when we look at how well Cou is playing with Suarez up front in the Liverpool line-up. There better be a heftly nice buy-back clause on him.

          • http://www.facebook.com/gawarikar Parth Gawarikar

Send me a massage on Facebook. It’d be good to discuss such things once in a while with a fellow Fedenerazzurrus!!!

          • Sina

            Sounds good. Likewise!

          • http://www.facebook.com/gawarikar Parth Gawarikar

In fact, it is fortunate that Coutinho didn’t go to Southampton…………. At least someone would be happy with this deal……………..

  • http://twitter.com/adit_chandra Aditya Chandra

Imagine this. Coutinho -> Liverpool, Liverpool -> Juventus or AC Milan. X(

  • Gema Alfa

he need a ‘great’ news so he can get their salary. i want to punch him in the face!
