In an interview with Turkish and Dutch media, the now former Inter player Wesley Sneijder finally talks a little bit about his old club and particularly Massimo Moratti.

“Moratti is a great man and our problems were only in the nature of economic. I wish all the best to Inter. Before deciding I heard from Mourinho and Van Gaal, they are two important people in my career. They told me to go to Galatasaray and gave me the last push to choose this Turkish club as a new challenge.”

Well, of course, it was all about money from the first place. But then what would you do if your employer comes and tells you tomorrow to either leave the company or agree to reduce your wage because the company is in hard times. Would you be just so kind enough to say, “Sure, boss, no employee is bigger than this company. I’d willingly comply”? Wouldn’t you take all the legal steps to get as much compensation as possible at least? At the end, both Moratti and Sneijder seem happy now, then that’s a good thing.
