He was on the field 11 minutes against Pescara, another five yesterday with Roma, little by little, Gaby Mudingayi is gaining his fitness back so that he can give 110% to this club on the field. After training today at the Stadio Flaminio (Inter are staying in Rome for Coppa Italia match versus Roma on Wednesday), the Belgian midfielder gave a short interview to Sky Sport 24:
“After the injury, I am now available to train with my team and I am very happy. I am recovering and the coach will give me, game after game, the chances to get minutes for my legs. The team is doing well with and without me but on my part, I try to be ready every time I am called upon. The third place is our objective? We’ll see. Right now we are only thinking about ourselves. The league is very hard but we do not want to worry about how other clubs are doing.”
The player also touches on Fredy Guarin who is playing his best football in the Inter shirt. “How much does having this explosive Guarin? He is a very important player for us and having him as a teammate definitely helps. More midfielders are coming? A new midfielder with different characteristics can only help Inter. Good players are always needed here.”
