He is the man of the moment. The player that holds everything together when it gets though. With strength, force, power and enthusiasm, Fredy Guarin is doing everything he can to be at the top with the black and blue, the colors that Cordoba has taught him to love. In an interview with Sport Mediaset journalist Marco Barzaghi, the Colombian midfielder talks about a little bit of everything from Serie A to the current situation with Wesley Sneijder.
“The cramps yesterday? We played 120 minutes which is something that does not happen very often. But they were just cramps, only fatigue. Against Roma this weekend it will be a good game. In the first leg against them, we were in a difficult period but now we are better and I hope that we can win.”
Guarin also talks about his decision of staying in Milan to spend his holidays instead of going back to his home country.
“Staying responsible is fundamental in my thought process and staying in Milan was best for me and for my family. Leaving near Inter increases my responsibility and I want to give the best for this team. I believe in our work, in the coach and my teammates. The mentality and our work on the field matter. Can we return to the Inter team that beat Juventus in Turin? I think so, we have demonstrated that potential.”
Last topic is the madness that surrounding Wesley Sneijder.
“He must think about his own good to make this decision. We all know that he has character and he is a very nice person, as well as being a great champion. I hope that he makes the best decision for himself and his future.”
