Everything is evolving around Wesley Sneijder’s situation. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Sneijder has accepted the idea of playing for Galatasaray after initial straight up rejection to the Turkish club. That being said, no decision surely has been made. Liverpool have appeared to be another possible suitor and the Premier League remains the dream of Sneijder. However, the offer from the Reds is much lower than what Sneijder’s representatives would like to be, certainly much lower than that of Galatasaray.
Gazzetta dello Sport asks that “is it possible that we arrive at the end of this month and this story is still hanging and undefined? Perhaps not because there will be a penalty should the player sign with another team.” This penalty, reportedly, is five million euros that Inter will have to pay Galatasaray.
