Empoli sporting director Marcello Carli talks about Riccardo Saponara, who had a medical yesterday for Milan, to Sky Sport.
“His move to Milan? It was a good deal especially for the player who is moving on to a big club and we are very happy. The player also had interest form Inter but with Milan, we were able to strike a deal very quickly. We started talking Monday and closed it on Wednesday. Riccardo is a simple, intelligent kid and was very happy when he heard about this move from his agent.”
