It seems like we have talked about Inter dealing with Porto every single transfer window for the past years. After Guarin and Alvaro Pereira, another negotiation between these two clubs could be on the horizon. Fernando, Porto midfielder, could be another piece of the Porto team of Villas Boas on his way to Inter.
“In the event that operation Paulinho becomes impossible for January, Inter could propose a Guarin style deal for Fernando to the Portuguese club: loan with right to purchase in June provided that Porto want to get rid of him right away. An alternative is Raul Meireles of Fenerbahce,” reported by the Gazzetta dello Sport.
And that’s not all. Inter are also interested in Porto defender Rolando who is liked by many clubs including several in Italy. At a relatively young age (27) and with a more than acceptable price of between 8 to 10 million, these are two factors that could entice Branca and Ausilio to make concrete moves. Let’s not forget that Ricardo Alvarez has been recently linked to Porto, a long time admirer of the Argentinian midfielder.
In other words, Inter and Porto will continue to remain hot as January approaches. Inter transfer market men will try to take advantage of especially good relationship with Pinto Da Costa, someone that is always difficult to negotiate with.
