Europa League: Rubin Kazan Vs. Inter Preview – Who Wins Will Be Top Dog

Don’t expect a full strength Inter tomorrow at the Central Stadium. Due to the desire to rest many key players as also some injuries, Andrea Stramaccioni will have to invent something against Rubin Kazan as both clubs will battle it out for the top spot in group H. With the absence of Walter Samuel in the defense, Mattias Silvestre will have another chance to redeem himself after that embarrassing performance versus Atalanta a few weeks back. In the midfield, it’s Jonathan’s turn to be on the right side with Pereira on the left. The three men in the middle could be Zanetti, Gargano and youngster Benassi. Coutinho is also expected to start as he will have the responsibility to support the lone striker Livaja.

    im starting to get mad now. what is going on with stramas head? we loose 3-0 against rubin?? with all respect they are a ok team, but 3-0. this is the 3. consecutive game we have lost points. we are loosing chemestry by this losses. using all the primaveraplayers.. whats the good of that when we loose like this? only thing that is happening now is that we loose our respect, loosing 1. place and may have to play a better team in the knockout stages.. im starting to doubt stramas managerskills by his wierd choices..

      am agree with Strama about using our primavera at this match because we already qualified to the next round. Shitvestre sucks (as always), and Pereira.. wtf with him? lazy ass

        we took this game way to lightly. a loss is not good enough. the mindset of some players will allways be less focused when the team consist with players of lower quality – in other words the game was not important to the players. so the masterplan of strama must have been to give the players gametime nothing else.
        by the way. if i see that shitvestre again in the lineup i personally are going to the dressingroom to kick a boot to his head, he deserves it :P hehe

    As I said Livaja is not player for Inter!I dont know why Strama uses Jonathan and Silvestre, because Moratti and Branca will release them in the end of season anyway (maybe in January)…Gargano is bench player,Pereira also.Obi when health, should be starter with Cambiasso and Guarin in midfield…And for fuck sake,we should play Coutinho every single game!!!Where is Mariga,even as a substitute?

    Ok seriously what kind of Inter fans are you guys…we NEVER insult Inter’s players that hard. Yea we played poorly but consider the average age of the squad was like 20 lol…it was youth squad + Gargano and Pereira (Silvestre in defense = we concede imo)

      this proves it all:
      lets say that you had bought tickets to this game. looking forward to see cou getting back in form and maybe some goals by your favuorite team.
      only to discover that strama gives the fu*k in the game and fields low quality players (wich obviously are NOT suited for the first team as starters yet). of course you still think we will win becouse we are inter.
      i have some questions for you:
      - are you happy to have spent 2 hours of your time on this game?
      - will this boost inters morale? given that its the 3rd game in a row that we have lost points..
      - do the youngsters get confidence, valuable game experience etc by this kind of game?
      i think all the answers to the above is no..

      strama fu*ks everyone in the a*s by giving the supporters the crap we have recieved in the last couple of games. in my mind i think he should focus on giving results after he flipped out last mach..

      this game is that kind of game you want to forget as soon as possible. and dont try to exscuse by saying the averange age is this and that. we should have won the game.

    okay. i think our player doesn’t have any intention for winning this game. rubin deserved their victory. i really dont like our display from this gme. less ambition and motivation. i just hope our squad show their hunger for every match, whether their regular starter or benchwarmer.

    ps : again and again. silvestre play, we’ll be conceded a goal or more. what a bad luck. just like “he’s on the lineup. so we have to score at least 2 goals or more”

        When u watch them play, it looks like they are scared of the ball and lose possesion very easy, only coutinho was dangerous today. they seem like they are forced to play or scared of something… and pereira cant even use the ball! we shouldve used nagatomo instead.

    Haha! these comments crack me up…when inter are winning everyone is happy and strama is the best. then when they loose its his fault. I mean if u watched the game, inter had majority of the ball..cou needs to step up his game a lil bit..but i like the how he has control of the ball, but he needs to be more decisive. This is the first full season for strama as well, so he will kno who to keep and not to by the end of the season. U guys need to relax a bit..its only football lol, and inter got a bright future so i wouldnt even sweat it. u cant win all games

      since strama became coach of Inter, I never said he was the best!! I am one who strongly opposed the philosophy of playing style that he applied..formation 3-5-3 will not run properly if he does not apply a high presing, placement is well positioned in the middle. in fact, until now he has failed to motivate his players .the players are lazy and just waiting for the ball .it might be noted (.regardless of age, primary or backup player, when he plays for inter, give the best for the team and fans) not all games won of inter makes me happy,,if they win but play badly I always criticize …FORZA INTER!!!!

    At least our youngsters got some experience, we’ve already qualified for the next round. Inter should try a 4-5-1 against Parma, when attacking it turns into a 4-3-3. Palacio should be the cf, and Coutinho on his left and Alvarez on his right. With Gargano I don’t know what he’s doing on the pitch, along with Silvestre; they both have to go. Our biggest problem is we have no defensive rock in the middle of the park, nor do we have a deep-laying playmaker. To solve this get Beñat and Fernando. Sell Sneijder to get Beñat, and send Alvarez and 5 million to Porto for Fernando. This way there are no excuses for our poor defensive showings. And pick up Rossi, Andreolli too.

    The restOmg, im so disappointed in inter. Our Brazilians were absolutely horrible. Coutinho was horrible. Indecisive and selfish. Juan was shocking. Jonathan was his usual crappy self. The primavera players were bad. Mbaye is the most promising primavera player. The rest were bad. I think Strama should integrate a few players instead of ramming all of them in one squad. I’m so pissed. Livaja was unimpressive. Hes a poaching striker. Inter uses dribbling, agile strikers. Longo is suited perfectly for inter unlike Livaja. He is mobile and agile.

    What we have learned so far this season:

    1) Silvestre, Gargano and Jonathan MUST LEAVE Inter in January and we need to buy a center back, a good striker, a defensive midfielder and a center midfielder.
    2) Livaja needs to be loaned out since there is no room for 1st team games and has to improve.
    3) Alvarez and Coutinho should play more often and start games because they are out future and we need creativity in the midfield.
    4) Strama MUST convert McDonald Mariga into a Center Back to replace Silvestre because he is tall, strong physically, and good positioning.
    5) Inter need to start playing more Mbaye and Duncan to see where is their progress at.

    Chill out guys.. we where throu to the next round, we dident had to win.. so WTF? in January we need 3 players, one in every line. Andreolli – Paulinho – Llorente, we need to give more competision in the team.. thouse 3 can push the team a little bit up.. a win in the weekend and this loss is forgotten.. forza inter

    nevermind with this lost. we alredy qualify and the team we field in absolutely young and no exp like romano,benassi and issac donkor. so its good for development. no need to blame the player and the coach. we conceded 2 of 3 goal in stopage time. and our attcker 18 and 19 years old boy before palacio replace one of them. but silvestre and jonathan should go in january.

    c’mon you guys, ok it’s a shame to see Inter conceded 3 goals, but we’ve already qualified to the next stage, what’s the point to play out key player and risk them an injury? it’s better to give an experience to our primavera player guys :)
