Massimo Moratti has reached out to Cagliari. After the strong statement posted on the Rossoblu’s website where the club criticizes the press of not giving proper emphasis to its performance and rather just talk about the mistakes against Inter. Something that Massimo Moratti agrees with.
“Perhaps the newspapers were more interested in stirring up the controversy instead of talking about Cagliari’s performance. They are the team that got us into the most trouble season. I expressed that feeling sincerely after the game to president Cellino at the end of the game: we are great friends and I told him that he has a great team, the best that we have faced so far this season. I also said I hoped he could keep hold of two coaches who seem to be very talented.
“The mistakes? It’s sort of thing that can happen in football. However, the problem is that it happens every Sunday and that is the negative thing.”
