Many Youngsters Receive Call-Up For Rubin Kazan

Andrea Stramaccioni has invited 20 players for Rubin Kazan-Inter on Thursday, the game that should decide the top position in group H. As expected, we see a whole lot of many young players in this list such as Bandini, Donor, Pasa, Del Piero, Benassi, Romanò and Garritano. Samir Handanovic is out. Here is the list:

Goalkeepers: 12 Luca Castellazzi, 27 Vid Belec, 32 Matteo Cincilla;

Defenders: 4 Javier Zanetti, 6 Matias Silvestre, 23 Andrea Ranocchia, 31 Alvaro Pereira, 40 Juan Jesus, 42 Jonathan, 48 Andrea Bandini, 54 Isaac Donkor;

Midfielders: 21 Walter Gargano, 24 Marco Benassi, 28 Simone Pasa, 46 Yago Del Piero, 52 Andrea Romanò;

Forwards: 7 Philippe Coutinho, 8 Rodrigo Palacio, 61 Luca Garritano, 88 Marko Livaja.

    Now that we are through it’s good to see a lot of youngsters. Ranoocchia, Juan and Palacio shouldn’t play. Rano just came back from injury and we don’t have any good back up defenders. With Cassano suspended we shouldn’t risk Palacio on a game which doesn’t really matter

    Give the kids a chance to see what its like plus these are the people they are accostumed to playing with let the chemistry flow. Should have called up Forte and Olsen IMHO

    We need to play our youngsters in this match, so we can rest the regulars. We have a big game against Parma this weekend, its important to stay in at least second place going into the winter break. This way with some new signings we can build upon a good first half of the season, hopefully Andreolli, Rossi, and possibly one defensive mid.
