Sir Alex believes that bringing Wesley Sneijder to Manchester is not a mirage but rather a concrete possibility. According to English sources, the Dutchman feels frustrated by the club that makes him unable to post on Twitter. Furthremore, Sneijder’s contract, which receives more than 6 million, represents the last hurdle for Inter management to overcome. The Nerazzurri have been wanting and taking action of reducing the high wages for over a year now.

In the past, the Red Devils were very close to the player and in 2010 but both teams were unable to come to terms. Wesley Sneijder is on his way back from injury. If the player can return to the levels of the treble winning season then he would be an added value to the team. On the contrary, his status with Inter could be questioned.

    Don’t leave…please…

  • Kl LK

He’s an amazing player and could add something extra to make us unstoppable but if an offer comes in for around 25-30 million we should sell him, his wages are too high and he is injury prone.

  • Chalon

It may be time for him to leave. Reason:

    1. Can only play 1 position, AM. That has been proven.
    2. We have other players that can play that position plus other positions. Coutinho, Alvarez, Cassano….

    3. Huge salary. Not worth it anymore when he is so injury prone and so unflexible in where he can play.

    4. We need a MIlito replacement soon, can we sell Sneijder and use that space in the salary and the tranfer fee to get…. say maybe Cavani.

    4. Strama’s way of playing. He likes his attack to move, don’t give reference points, and Sneijder does not fit as he cannot really get in the box at a given time, he would be useless in there.

    • def

harsh, but its fact. we have to be realistic, i just hope no swapping between sneijder for NANI

      • Fredy

yeah no nani. we have to get at least one striker (rossi), and another young central defender. the search also continues for a player who can take zanetti’s role when he retires and find who will be the next il capitano (cuchu)

    • totonero80

Alvarez is far from Sneijder’s talent, he is 24 and may not progress much more. Cou is better than Ricky but I’m not too optimistic on him.

100% agree, people too optimistic with alvarez…

        • http://twitter.com/lenthard Dong Lee

Agree, people say he is only 24. But I would say he’s already 24 and hasn’t shown any sign of improvement. Don’t expect he will suddenly be so good. I think we should consider loaning him to Espanyol next season so that he could get some more playing time.

LOL this is not Fifa…Look at pirlo 2seasons ago and look at him now…Alvarez is realy good Coutinho too those 2 are awesome alvarez is underrated and trust me if he begin training his shot then alvarez will be like sneijder and maybe better…Cou is arleady good all he needs is some more playing time to become AWESOME!!!

        • neroazzurro87

LOL, this is not Fifa or FM to say “Alvarez is really good” or “awesome” or “better than Sneijder” etc.

          NAIVE!!!

        • crf

Look at Pirlo 2 seasons ago….? He led Italy to a World Cup in 2006… He was the Champions League with Milan… Pirlo has always been the class player he is today, he didnt blossom in his old age. It’s just simply remarkable that he maintains such a high level of play in his old age, not that he’s improved. Ricky will not improve much more. Coutinho on the other hand, well there’s hope for him.

  • Inter

    just sell him… -.-

  • ororo

He can be a Pirlo or a Iniesta, I still believe Stramaccioni can fit Sneijder in these new inter system. Only sell him for crazy money. lets say… 40 million pound? 25 million is an insult to Sneijder ability.

    • Στεφανος Τσουντας

He is an AM he only play in attack he cannot be everywhere like pirlo does…Pirlo plays as a cm that means that he MUST attack with the team and run back to defence…

  • dublos

No. We need his kind of quality in our squad for when we come up against the likes of RM, PSG etc, we need at least a world class AM like him in our squad. I think this winning run has given us a false sense of security. We are goin to be severely tested later on this season especially in the EL, its then we will know how good we really are this season.

    • inter_island

      Don’t downplay our run guy….
Most consecutive wins in serie a

17, Inter Milan, 2006–07, (European Big Five League Record)
      11, Roma, 2005–06
      10, Juventus, 1931–32
      10, Milan, 1950–51 and 1989–90
      10, Bologna, 1963–64

Strama’s Inter is at 7 consecutive wins and all things considered it’s pretty remarkable.

  • Moe

I have a feeling that his absence from the squad is what’s behind our winning streak. He’s too picky on where he plays and is not flexible. We’ve seen his performance when he plays in a position that’s a few centimeters away from his preferred one and it wasn’t great. I really hope I’m wrong because at his best, Sneijder can really dictate a game and turn it around. Hope he proves me wrong when he comes back from injury

  • http://twitter.com/ismailsunni Ismail Sunni

Do we remember? Last season, without Sneijder, we got consecutive wins. After he came back, we lost again. Yes, he is a very good player. But, sadly, I think we must sell him now while anyone is interested.

  • neroazzurro87

Stop these ridiculous things. Sneijder will be at Inter for a long time.

  • havar

His market value at the moment does not represent his worth as a player. We’d be lucky to get 20mil after his last season. I’d rather keep him unless we receive substantial compensation, ie. around 35mil.

  • neroblue

As great as Sneijder is, he hasn’t replicated his form of 2010. Tactically, he can only play behind the striker(s), we need all of our offensive players to press at least on defense. We should give Sneijder until late December to blend in properly with the team. If he does not sell him to Man U, with the cash get Beñat Etxebarria. We need a regista to properly support Coutinho, Ricky, and Fantantonio. Beñat is on his way up, anyone who can make Spain’s NT that is not from Madrid or Barca is a true talent.

    LOL, just LOL

  • Xahi Xixa Armati

    SELL HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

  • http://twitter.com/adit_chandra Adit

SELL SELL SELL. NO MORE QUESTIONS!!

  • Alex G.Meazza

Manchester Utd won’t give us more than 20mil for Sneijder and thats not enough to buy anything good. But we can always offer him to Anzhi, PSG, Man.City… Anzhi and PSG can give us 30-35mil and City can swap Aguero or Dzeko or Balotelli for Sneijder. Just don’t let him go to Man.Utd or AC Bilan.
