Strama Ideas Trident With Cambiasso As Center Back Against Atalanta

The Gazzetta dello Sport has predicted that Andrea Stramaccioni will continue using the trident of Milito, Cassano and Palacio on Sunday against Atalanta. But the real question is what will the three-man defense look like with Samuel and Ranocchia out of action? With some experience playing as a center back, Esteban Cambiasso could be chosen in the middle of a three-man defense which consists of Juan Jesus and Matias Silvestre. Guarin and Gargano should be in the midfield with Nagatomo and Zanetti.

    Having Silvestre there makes me nervous, Zanetti will have to play extremely well to make up for him

      In Belgrade against Partizan,Silvestre was good, but too much agressive .But Im concerned about him too.

        i watched the match, Silvestre luckly didnt recieve a straight red card for elbowing Partizan’s player. IMO he is easily provoked and willing to take on verbal abuses with physical confrontation… he is still a ticking time bomb in my opinion

          Yeah, I was there on stadium :D, and when he pushed Partizan player i thought that he would be sent off too (he did it twice,once in the begining and second time in our 16m during Partizan free kick).He is often plays diry and never says sorry to opponent.

    Why not Mbaye? Put Zanetti in Silvestre’s position and use Mbaye as the fullback

    we need a good centre back in the January transfer. this is an urgent issue for inter defense. Silvestre does not good enough, i agree i was always nervous when seeing him covering defence.

    what ever strama decide i am going with him , he is the best just like when mourinho in charge. i am not worried anymore about this team ability and strama capabilty. he alredy make this team stable,consistence and becoming contender again in serie a and EL.
