Antonio Cassano hurled a barrage of abuse at referee Paolo Tagliavento at half time in the match between Inter and Juventus on Saturday night.
The Bianconeri went in at the break 1-0 up thanks to an Arturo Vidal strike, but in the build-up Kwadwo Asamoah was clearly offside.
Cassano was angry at the referee’s decision to allow the goal and he reportedly said, “Tagliave [Tagliavento], why are you leaving? We are talking to you politely! You pretend to hear nothing.”
Inter did go on to win the match 3-1, with a double from Diego Milito and Rodrigo Palacio grabbing the third late on.
