Defenders Crisis for Juve Clash?

Two Inter defenders were warned today: Andrea Ranocchia and Juan Jesus.

The Italian will have to take special care against Sampdoria on Wednesday to avoid a yellow that would cost his Juventus match, while the Brazilian will be in the stands in midweek after a yellow at Dall’Ara.

With Chivu still out for the foot problem, Stramaccioni has two cards to play: the revival of Matias Silvestre, who was still unconvincing in the last Europa League game, or the retreat of “everywhere man” Esteban Cambiasso, in terms of form stratosphere.

With Cuchu as central defender, Samuel should climb on the center, with Ranocchia on the opposite side.

Stramaccioni has two days to think about the various tactical solutions, keeping in mind the implications in other areas of the field. Cambiasso in defense, there may be a confirmation of the pair Mudingayi-Gargano with the heavy trident (Cassano-Palacio-Milito) or the revival of Guarin and confirmation of 3-5-2 saw today.

    We need to buy one world class central defender in january! This is a fact! Rano-Samuel-Juan are playing well, but Samuel and Chivu are getting too old and Silvestre is too uncertain. Now we don’t have decent backup.

    We should not take any risks. Ranocchia and Juan will be very important players against Rubentus and they have to be fresh for the saturday game. So tonight we can play

    If everything goes well,we can substitute someone with Duncan,Livaja and Bianchetti and if not Zanetti,Cassano and Milito will have to play again to win the game. It is very important that we have Juan,Ranocchia,Zanetti,Cambiasso,MIlito and Cassano for the game against rubentus.

    I believe we need 1 central defender in January to replace Silvestre (Andreolli ? – he knows his role will be as backup and he wont cost too much).Then for next season either Astori or Ogbinna to replace Chivu. Give Samuel 1 more year he has the experience to help all the younger defenders.
