Torino 24 year old defender Angelo Ogbonna has been tracked in the previous months by many clubs, as AS Rome, Fiorentina, Napoli and Juventus, but, as reported by Tuttosport, the Piedmontese club’s president Urbano Cairo doesn’t seem intentioned to sell the player to their city rivals, so, if the granata would decide to yield the Italy national, both Inter and AC Milan could make an attempt to bring the young defender to San Siro.
Meanwhile, Inter’s attempts to bring Chievo Verona defender Marco Andreolli back to the club have now begun after they started negotiations with the Flying Donkeys. It is believed these talks will progress swiftly and amicably due to the good relationship between both presidents.
Andreolli left the Nerazzurri in 2007 but has since gone on to become one of the most assured defenders in the division at the Bentegodi. The 25-year-old’s contract runs out at the end of the campaign and he has no intention of signing a new one.
Inter are unlikely to wait until the summer to swoop though and will bring a new defender in January as extra defensive cover with Andrea Stramaccioni disappointed with Matias Silvestre so far.
