Torino 24 year old defender Angelo Ogbonna has been tracked in the previous months by many clubs, as AS Rome, Fiorentina, Napoli and Juventus, but, as reported by Tuttosport, the Piedmontese club’s president Urbano Cairo doesn’t seem intentioned to sell the player to their city rivals, so, if the granata would decide to yield the Italy national, both Inter and AC Milan could make an attempt to bring the young defender to San Siro.

Meanwhile, Inter’s attempts to bring Chievo Verona defender Marco Andreolli back to the club have now begun after they started negotiations with the Flying Donkeys. It is believed these talks will progress swiftly and amicably due to the good relationship between both presidents.

Andreolli left the Nerazzurri in 2007 but has since gone on to become one of the most assured defenders in the division at the Bentegodi. The 25-year-old’s contract runs out at the end of the campaign and he has no intention of signing a new one.

Inter are unlikely to wait until the summer to swoop though and will bring a new defender in January as extra defensive cover with Andrea Stramaccioni disappointed with Matias Silvestre so far.

Very very good players, both young, and Italian as well. Either one would be welcome, Ogbonna is more physically astute, but in Andreolli we have one of our own. We need to have a defense with substitutes just as ready to step in and assuredly do the job as the starters, either one of these would do just that. One thing Milan could offer that we couldn’t, is a starting spot, since we have Ranno and Juan, but they’re both young, and another youngster has just as much chance to step in as they do. One thing we can offer that Milan can’t…is a good, young, upcoming team, and a very possible Champions League spot, and trophies to fight for. Andreolli is more plausible. Good stuff in any case.

“Andrea Stramaccioni disappointed with Matias Silvestre so far”
Not only Strama, but we do disappointed with him so far. Thanks god we only loaned him from Palermo, so we can send him back to Zamparini’s cheap greedy arses lol
I prefer Ogbonna to Andreolli since he is Italy national defender and he can also cover the center back and left full back position. Strong in the air, fast movement, clean tackling, in short he is awesome and could be Italy’s future defensive duo with Ranocchia.

yeah, right. Since Matias had so many chances to prove his worth… does someone called Andrea Ranocchia rings a bell to any of you? yeah, that kid who gave away 1 goal / game in the past 1.5 years. and look what turned out of him.

maybe Strama should start playing Silvestre aswell, trust him, like he does with JJ and Rano…

btw, Ogbonna would be amazing! so does Benatia
