Corinthians Director: “Paulinho? We’ll Talk”

The transfer market of Brazilian club Corinthians is already hot with many names out there like Renato August from Bayer Leverkusen coming in and obviously Paulinho leaving in January. This is not an ideal situation for preparing the Club World Cup in Japan. In this regard, Corinthians director Edu Gaspar, tries to put a stop on any rumors, those that to him, are without foundation.

“We will not talk about all the names. The names circulating are merely the result of invention of the newspaper. I have always denied any kind of negotiation. Besides, what spirit can the players be in for the Club World Cup in Japan if these rumors keep turning up? The rumors will continue up until the tournament in Japan. But Paulinho is not the only one because there are other players and if we receive offers for them then we’ll talk. I think that’s normal.”

    Mariga out for Paulinho in January – and loan out Lavaja to make space for Rossi. Other transfers must wait for end of season – too many changes at once will be bad for the team.

      If we sell mariga and buy paulinho then i dont think guarin has a place to be in starting eleven, which will turn out as a huge blow. But at the moment, guarin isnt doing well so yeah we should consider a move for paulinho, and sell snejider too bcuz we already have cou and alvarez.

        Guarin is more of an attacking one and he needs time to learn the new formation cause as you remember guaro is used in a mid of 3 and not in a one of 5/4…And also paulinho won’t replace guaro he will replace cambiasso or zanneti and also fernando will come too!!!SOOOO I EXPECT AN AWESOME JANUARY TRANSFER SAGA!!!Fernando from porto(replacing zanneti after this season cause it’s probably his last :’(((((((((( ) Paulinho to replace cambiasso(Or maybe he will play from the second half) Rossi(to replace millito)

    Think the press making things bad for Inter… Need to keep this transfer on the low as I believe Paulinho really wants to come to Inter (like juan jesus). Being in the spotlight though will attract the big spending clubs and it would be Lucas Moura all over again….. best of luck branca.
