Paulinho says no. The rumors from England that link the Brazilian midfielder and Chelsea are strong and continuous. After winning the Copa Libertadores as one of Corinthian’s protagonists, Paulinho is now at the center of the transfer market with Inter remaining at the front row. The Corinthian midfielder recently released statement regarding this transfer rumor:
“Speaking about Chelsea, I feel that this is just, once again, speculation on my behalf. There is absolutely nothing with Chelsea. If there was something concrete then I would have no problems saying it in front of everyone. I am very happy at Corinthians at this time. I am looking forward to important challenges ahead such as the Club World Cup. For this reason, I remain focused on the field and fortunately I have a group of friends here in Brazil that helps me keeping my head straight and thinking only about Corinthians. Inter made me an official offer, we all know that. I confirmed this proposal without any problems but then I decided to stay. However with Chelsea, again, there is nothing. When there is something serious regarding my situation, I will say it.”
