Sky: Cambiasso, Cassano To Be Rested. 3-5-1-1 Formation Probable

Here come more rumors on the starting 11 that Stramaccioni will field tomorrow against Chievo. According to Sky Sport 24, Stramaccioni will play three central defenders in Juan, Ranocchia and Chivu in front of Handanovic in a 3-5-1-1 formation. In the midfield, Zanetti should make his return with Guarin and Gargano who are the favorites over Cambiasso (probably will be rested) while Nagatomo will be on the right and Pereira on the left. Up front, Sneijder is going to have the responsibility of providing support to Diego Milito.

Probable lineup: Handanovic; Ranocchia, Chivu, Juan; Nagatomo, Guarin, Gargano, Zanetti, Pereira; Sneijder; Milito.

    gotta say, it’s getting more more clear that Stramacioni does not know how to use the talent he has at hand. 2 attacking minded players and the rest defensive? Why the hell do have coutinho, alvarez, obi and the likes. Am sorry men, if strama cannot pin point his best elven and formation,… Gud Luck men, hoping for the win though.

      Ofcourse and he doesn’t!He got nothing that he wanted from players to play his system!!!He asked for 2 wingers 1 striker 1 gk 2 DM and 1 more fullback that can play offencivly like maicon did and look whitch of those that he wanted he took and whocj the players that he asked for he took!!!

      i think against chieveo we need to play coutinho along with sneijder behind livaja. milito need rest. put alvarez as deep playmaker. i know its looks too vulnerable in term of defence but believe me this teams needs enhancement in the midfield why dont we give it a try?. it’s been years and years we always show huge fear to play attacking football. i will always love inter even if we are in the bottom of the table. the only thing i dream about inter is playing an offensive footbal. a beautifull one. something that gives you joy. we’ve won many competitions and we must start a new cycle of type of play. though it will take time and patience. i can accept if we lose and play beautifully, but, i cant be patient when we play like shit and lose the game

    I think he is trying to find a formation for the players he got in his hands cause let’s face it sneijder,coutinho,cassano,palacio,pereira can’t play like wingers!That’s why he is playing with those formations!The hole formation faults are brancas fault cause he didn’t singed the players strama wanted For example the 2 wingers(Afellay,Lucas,Lavezzi etc) 1 striker(Osvaldo,Henrandez etc) and 2 Defencive midfielder(Fernado,(HE NEVER ASKED FOR MUNDIGAYA),De Jong etc)!The players that strama begged for are handanovic and gargano(nad he wanted garganp bcz branca is shit and he couldn’t get a better one)!
    Sooooo don’t blame strama cause strama was clear on what he wanted and on what he needed,He wanted a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 formation and he needed 2 wingers 1 gk 1 stiker(back up one) and 2 defencive midfeilders!What he gotten was handanovic(good signing) palacio(good for now but old and that’s why strama wasn’t soo in him),Mundigaya(no coments from strama),Gargano(he prefered de jong and frnando instead of him!),Pereira(He asked for a fullback/midfielder he was so happy for signing him),Cassano a player inter wanted for a long time and bought him near the end of his career :( ) By my opinon the only person I can blame those 3 season for not winning serie A is branca and his stuped moves!Strama is good we can all see that but he is used and knows how to play 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 and not with 4-3-2-1,3-5-1-1,4-3-1-2 or any other DEFENCIVE system!

    If we want to win this match our player should be ready to go to war. Chievo is a clever TEAM and they play well, I saw there game against Juve. Our players should give there heart,blood and soul to prove every one that they are true champion. this message come from the heart go inter, go my club. Even if we loose tomorrow or even an other day i will remain and interist cuz the blue and black will remain in my heart. FORZA INTER

      i love that attitude of urs. very similar to mine towards inter. lots of fans were panicking and cursing their lives after our results. our performance has improved and im sure it will go beyond that. us fans need to put our trust in the new changes and support them to the fullest. win or lose and not only win. ffs i heard ppl say sack strama and i went crazy on him when he did.       every fan hates when theres team loose, and get emotional and angry.. we will allways support inter in bad days and good days.. but still we need too pick up the good thing and work to become grande inter again.. juventus is far away but i belive we will get up there soon, if not this year then next.. in 2015 i hope we will be top 5 clubs in the world like in 2010.. forza INTER !!!

    Altho i can see the method in this and i do kinda agree with it i dont like this chopping and changing after every bad result. A new team needs time to settle and we have to be patient. I do kinda like this formation but it means we use all our defensive midfielders and it puts space for cassano and coutinho at a premium. And palacio to an extent also. I’ve already said i dont rate alvarez but this formation puts him 4th in the pecking order.

    We will not win any trophy for years if we don’t improve the defense. That’s easy to talk, hard to walk. Chivu is aging, samuel is fcking slower than ever after his last injury, and silvestre is just like a garbage like he used to be at Palermo last year. The key is at Juan and Ranocchia. Strama should pair both of them regularly and let them find their chemistry. Another solution? get new defender at the winter transfer, and don’t play deadwoods like Silvestre and Samuel until they improve their levels. And for kids who keep saying that Zanetti should be dropped off from the squad, please shut your mouth. Il capitano won’t go anywhere, he can play whenever and wherever he wants to play. He is 39 years old, but he is our best player for years, and don’t forget he is the man who gave us treble winner two years ago. Please show some respect to him.

    It’s about time we put more trust in coutinho. The thing is while at espanyol, young player such as cou and longo can play without big team’s pressure. So they can play freely and as a result you can see cou’s performance at espanyol last season. I’m afraid if cou doesn’t play regularly, it will harm his development.

    Play Coutinho and Sneijder behind Milito with Alvarez in midfield in a 3-4-2-1 to link defense and attack alongside a DM to protect him (Alvarez lack pace but good passer & comfortable on the ball) or Strama can play a bit riskier with 3-2-3-2, maybe Mudingayi (if fit) and Zanetti in front of back 3, Coutinho-Sneijder-Alvarez in support of Livaja (or Cassano) & Milito upfront…5 attacking players, 5 defensive. Whatever tactics he uses, 3 points are a must!

    I don’t know if someone wrote a comment like this because I don’t have time to read all the comments, but here we go:

    If you think that you need to change defensive players when the defense is bad, think again. To play defense is not all about defensive players, it’s also about midfielders – and here’s our biggest problem. Our midfielders are careless and lose the ball to often. Nagatomo – Ranocchia – Juan – Pereira is a VERY good defensive formation – on paper. If Inter can’t play with these defensive players then we really have a problem on other positions, and that’s the midfielders. I don’t want to mention any midfielders that I think are bad, but Inter needs to start to defend as a team, not just rely on the defenders.
