Inter Save 40 Million Euros From Wages, Sneijder Remains Highest Paid Player In Serie A However

Cutting costs and saving are very well known among the Inter universe. The Nerazzurri decided that they can no longer support such a high salary like the past several seasons and the mission, coming to the this past transfer window, was to cut down salary. Thanks to the departure of Lucio, Maicon, Julio Cesar and Forlan, the mission is accomplished. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter save around 40 million euros due to the cuts that they made last transfer market. However, Wesley Sneijder remains the highest paid player in Serie A at 6 million. The Dutch is actually on par with Gianluigi Buffon and Daniele De Rossi for this title.

On the top ten highest paid players there is also Diego Milito who is tied with Edison Cavani at 4.5 million. Esteban Cambiasso immediately is after with 4 million together with Pato, Mexes and Robinho.

    i think cambiasso can be sold in january. his wage is too high for his recent performance. besides, we should promote our young midfielders like obi, mariga, or even duncan.

      Seriously it’s a crime Cambiasso earns twice as much as bionic Zanetti…

    the day we are getting rid of all the players from ‘the triple’ season, then we are going to have low salary..sneijder, milito, cambiasso, stankovic, chivu, samuel.. they are getting way to much.. Only zanetti is fair.. he’s been here so long.. so next season whoes players OUT!
