Inter and Telecom Italia were sentenced to pay jointly one million euro in favor of the former Inter striker Christian Vieri for “spying.” Vieri, initially, requested 12 million from Telecom Italia and 9.250 million from Inter.
“We are satisfied with the result of this sentence. The illicit behavior was recognized which is not easy to obtain in Italy. It was recognized also the damage done to Vieri who is happy about this victory. He suffered real damage and now is compensated. Justice has been done,” said Danilo Bongiorno, Vieri’s lawyer.
