The Gazzetta dello Sport has given Inter a 7 rating for all the activities during the recent transfer window. According to the Milan based newspaper, there are 10 arrivals (including loaned players coming back) and 13 departures. Massimo Moratti and company spent the total of 48 million euros, made 35 million from sales and thus, the difference is at 13 million. Here is the total breakdown by the Gazzetta dello Sport.

ARRIVALS:

Coutinho – Loan at Espanyol ended.

Jonathan – Loan at Parma ended.

Mariga -  Loan at Parma ended.

Palacio – 10 million to Genoa.

Handanovic – 11 million to Udinese.

Silvestre – 2 million to Palermo.

Mudingayi – 0.75 million to Bologna.

Gargano – 1.25 million to Napoli.

Cassano – 0 million to Milan.

Pereira – 10 million to Porto.

DEPARTURES:

Zarate – Loan ended. Back to Lazio.

Palombo – Loan ended. Back to Sampdoria.

Poli – Loan ended. Back to Sampdoria.

Lucio – Contract terminated. Went to Juve.

Forlan – Contract terminated. Went to Internacional.

Julio Cesar – Contract terminated – Went to Queens Park Rangers.

Cordoba – Retired.

Orlandoni – Retired.

Longo – To Espanyol on loan.

Pazzini – To Milan for 7.5 million.

Maicon – To Manchester City for 4 million.

Castaigsnno – To Twente for 6 million.

Faraoni – To Udinese for 0 million.

OTHERS:

Longo – Bought Genoa’s half for 5 million.

Guarin – Signed permanently from Porto for 8 million.

Pandev – Signed permanently by Napoli for 7.5 million.

Kucka – Inter’s half bought by Genoa for 7 million.

Viviano – Inter’s half bought by Palermo for 3 million.

    we paid 5 mil for half of Longo??? he is talented but thats a lot! I guess next summer we will know if it was mistake.

Like Alvarez is injured, Castelazzi is banned for 1 match or something like that. So, when we read new line up, we don’t keep asking, why he is not in the starting eleven. Thanks.

    i think we have created a new competitive team and i am happy with management even though they scared me at first with lavezzi and lucas! BUT from now on we should only buy youth players and develop them at our club!!

    When the team faces someone with strike forces and well organized then we can rate the tranfers nd know if inter were right to buy those players but inter should buy de jong not milan :(

    Good transfers by Branca and co, about time though do you think! Since Mourinho left we have lost some great players and not signed adequate replacements, I’d rate our business at 7 would have been 8.5 with G Rossi. A quality CB would have made a perfect 10, nevermind no team is perfect.

    I think it’s a good transfers, better than what we’ve done last year…
    If i can rate each of our current squad.. i’ll rate 8 to Goalkeepers, 6,75 to Central Defenders, 8,5 to FullBacks, 8,75 to Def-Midfields, 8,5 to Attack Midfields, 8 to Forwards…
    Hope our defenders can improve themselves, i expect them to make zero mistake against roma..
    Anyway it’s competitive enough, hope we can achieve something awesome this season…

    My biggest complaint is that we should’ve kept Poli. But I’m glad we didn’t let Mariga go.
    We also let Lucio, Forlan and Julio leave for no money… Those three alone could’ve gotten us over to a profitable transfer window. And nothing for Faraoni too.

    But we look stronger, faster and I’m looking forward to what Strama can do when everyone’s in shape (Mariga and Alvarez, specially)

    I think we did a good business in this mercato. Credit for Branca and managements for doing smart transfers. Now we’ll see a balance Inter this season. Forza INTER!!
