The vice-Milito could truly be Tommaso Rocchi. It is an idea and he could be the right name due to his willingness to be on the bench but especially that Rocchi would arrive at no cost (loan). His agent, Fabio Parisi, explains the situation on Sky:

“He was not offered to the Nerazzurri. However, there was an inquiry made by Inter and that was it for now. Rocchi would think about it.”

An alternative remains Marco Borrielo and Inter would have to talk to Roma about that. Meanwhile Rocchi is waiting…

I am ok with him i prefer him than all our other options!!!

  • im_the_king_1996

Rocchi , Borriello …..not thanks I’m fine with the current squad!

  • Styles

no money = basically no risk. El Principe cant play EVERY game! Lets do it :)

    • josh

Exactly and Livaja has no experience. I think it would be OKAY to land either Boriello/Rocchi

  • Styles

Besides the REAL vice-Milito Palacio will play that position too.

  • http://www.facebook.com/michelkupelian Michel Kupelian

i dont want any of these players! i prefer taking a chance on youth then signing old players!

  • DJ Ellis Dee

Coutinho and Livaja can play vice for Milito. If you saw the last 10 minutes of the Pescara game, Cou slotted up front as the lone Striker nicely and Livaja on the left in which both can swap position during play. It could be a sound alternative and also they boys can get playing time, as oppose to getting these deadwoods.

  • interfan@asean

    at no cost..?? well…decent deal…I guess…

  • http://www.facebook.com/ahmed.h.sultan.37 Ahmed Haider Sultan

WHY EVEN INQUIRY ABOUT HIM? JUST TRUST LIVAJA !!!!!

    • Solberg – Norway

So if Milito is injuried we should play livaja in the europa league-final? Are you crazy? Hes got no experience at all and hes potencial may be ruined due to putting to mutch pressure on him. His good as a last minute substitute for now to gain experience. An old experienced striker is needed! And dont mention palacio or the other attackers. They cant play as pure strikers. Brocchi are good backup for this season. Maybe livaja and longo will be more ready next year.

      • Solberg – Norway

        * rocchi

      • AK17

I definitely agree with this. Next year, at the end of the season or during january we can make a more long-term deal with maybe G Rossi depending on his condition. In a season or two we’re going to need to replace Milito completely rather than discuss the possibilites of vice-Milito.

But that’s too far in the future, as of right now, with the way things are looking on the market this is a good solution for us. Even if Rocchi might not get many appearances it’s good for Strama’s future to have an experienced card like this to play if need be.

      • http://twitter.com/Irfan_itsfun M. Irfan Faisal

Why not…? Yes, he don’t have much experiences… but if we don’t give him time to gain experiences, how can he gets more experience…
No experience, same as Rooney in 2002 (Everton), C. Ronaldo in 2002 (Sporting Lisbon), Messi in 2004 (Barcelona B),and so on… The only different here is, they have a chance to play with the first team, against most of the rival in a competition… When they have more play time, they’ll train harder to be better…
Look at Thiago Alcantara, Jovetic, Dzagoev, Siem De Jong… A footballer gain the experience not by just training and sitting on the bench or get only 10 minutes in the pitch… he’ll get more experience when he play on the pitch, when he feels pressure, when the fans push him to give his best form, when the coach give him an important role in the pitch, when he play against a stronger or more motivated team, and when he play together with his teammate, build-up the game to get a good result…

        • Solberg – Norway

i can see your point but do not fully agree. You have to look at this in a teams view and in the players interests view.
Sure the player will be better by having mutch playing-time but junior prospects dont win silverware. Arsenal is an example. This is the reason of italys great co-ownership posibility or loaning out an player, to make him as confident and good so he can go to the next level, by f.eks returning to his club (cou and giovinco is an example). The reason longo is loaned out is becouse he aint a first-team player but is too good to sit on the bench.
as you said players need gametime. look at how good that did to cou. no question about that. but players need to produce at the high level of inter, and there is a lot of pressure on him to score – if he is to start a game in militos absence. the talent he got may actually not come forward if you pressure a young mans mind to mutch and he may end up like a regular player. he needs to be given playingtime bit by bit.
I think the solution of signing a vise milito is the best way to go. The player, no mather who he is, is just a backup. He will play when milito is hurt or needs a rest. I think livaja will play anyway and actually also maybe more than the vise but most as a sub, while the vise is a starter or impact-player.

  • Chalon

It’s jut an inquiry I hope. I would hate to see Rocchi/Borriello stealing minutes from Livaja.

Now someone like Lisandro Lopez… I would like that.

    • AK-77

I agree. We need a really good vice-Milito or we must give playing time to the youngsters. If Milito gets injured then we are in trouble – so hopefully we are getting the really good vice-Milito.

  • Ricardo Jimenez

NO!!! not Rocchi, to old rather go with Borriello. But my wish is
    Nicklas Bendtner for the future

    • ote

I know Boriello is younger but his previous shirt is tainted. It bothers me so much. As for Bendtner do you think he wants to be Milito back up?

  • http://www.facebook.com/gawarikar Parth Gawarikar

Federico Macheda??? John Guidetti??? Luciano Narsingh??? Georginio Wijnaldum??? Or even Artem Milevskiy of Dynamo Kyiv…………… please don’t buy any more dinosaur fossils!!!

    • Chalon

Believe it or not, Guidetti seems quite good.

    • http://twitter.com/Irfan_itsfun M. Irfan Faisal

We’re not gonna buy him… just short term loan… Maybe if our striker is not good enough, we’ll buy someone in January…

      • http://www.facebook.com/gawarikar Parth Gawarikar

I meant, why even on loan??? Who knows what may happen to the prices of any other players till then??? Macheda should come cheap, so should Milevskiy who plays naturally as a second striker (read: perfect for Strama’s needs). Guidetti is already wanted by many top clubs, why should we wait till Jan and again buy players at bloated prices???

        • qwerty

This is not FM or FIFA game dude. Macheda won’t come for cheap absolutely and Sir Alex won’t let him go easily. Milevsky also won’t come with cheap price tag. Guidetti? He is good, but he won’t come for loan for sure with Mancio is still managing Man City.

          • http://www.facebook.com/gawarikar Parth Gawarikar

I know its not FIFA. You don’t need to tell what is FIFA and what is reality. I am merely saying that if you don’t ask the answer is always no. Utd have so many options up front, no way they’re gonna play Macheda. I mean, instead of inquiring for antiques like Rocchi, why can’t Inter enquire for youngsters??? Macheda could come on loan if we enquire………….

        • http://twitter.com/Irfan_itsfun M. Irfan Faisal

@e1bf31fcc266658941b6436708a5dfc2:disqus is absolutely right… it’s not a game… Macheda cheap in game, cause it determined by ONLY it’s current ability, i don’t think he’ll be cheap… Sir Alex already said he need many players since his target is to win every competition they’re involved.. Milevsky, i don’t think he’s the player strama needs…

Are you sure the price of every players will be bloating in January..??
Who knows maybe their price just decrease, so it’ll be cheaper…

          • http://www.facebook.com/gawarikar Parth Gawarikar

yeah well, we could never say for sure……………but what I saw for all these years is that the prices are rising in January for the same players if they perform well…………….if they perform lousy, they are as it is deemed unfit…………….

  • Inter DiHati

Why don’t we just take Zamorano back instead of this guy, i guess they’re at the same age *sarcastic mode on

  • ote

I’am surely choose Rocchi rather than Boriello but only if he is 3rd option behind Milito and Livaja. Just trust Livaja and if he doesn’t do well just call Longo back in January.

    • http://twitter.com/Irfan_itsfun M. Irfan Faisal

No, just let longo play this whole season in Espanyol… He’ll be better if he play against stronger team like RM, Barca, and Valencia twice…

  • http://www.facebook.com/mensur.hamzic Mensur Hamzic

isnt he the guy with often fascist salutes to the Lazio fans??? If thats the case, than no thanks!

  • agus

Just buy younger striker for vice milito please. He is just for backup if milito not doing his role like we want. (we hope not). I hope milito will have a great season and the younger vice milito still can play in primavera at least.

  • Brendo

Get Yarmolenko of Dynamo Kyiv made a beautiful Euro 2012 :-)

  • http://www.facebook.com/santa.chris.7 Santa Chris
