City Continue Offering De Jong For Maicon, Inter Said No

Negotiations continue between Inter and Manchester City for Maicon. Roberto Mancini’s club has yet to meet or even come close to the request of Inter which is about 8 million euros as the current offer right now is only at 4.5 million. The English club, however, continues wanting to include Nigel De Jong in the deal and he was, according to report, once again offered to Inter today. The Nerazzurri rejected the deal because the club only wants cash and also because it has already gotten Walter Gargano in that midfield position.

But let’s not rule out a permanent stay by the Brazilian because between Inter and Napoli, there have been talks for Jonathan and Jonathan will only leave if Maicon stays. The dilemma of the transfer market just like Real Madrid have basically gotten Debuchy.

    Its looking more and more like he may be staying.First there were 3 – now Chelsea and Madrid have bought a new RB so only City left. I know its unlikely but i would want Dzeko if they want to trade – he is not used there and we forget Milito is not young.

      Dzeko is not for us, I would rather get Tevez, we should have brought him last year :D look at him now, we should be smart and get Rossi and wait for him cause we don’t need him now but will need him next year and by that time he will be in form :D

    If you ask me 8,000,000 is not even enough for a player like Maicon. We paid 11,000,000 for Palacio who is the same age and nothing more. Maic should either stay with us or we should twist City’s hands for 15,000,000 and/or Dzeko!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Why not try to trade John Guidetti for Maicon??? He’s young, talented and would fit nicely in strama’s system. He is half italian i think so he could be interested in moving to serie a too.
