Probable Lineups Hajduk Split Vs. Inter

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Matias Silvestre is the one that will replace Andrea Ranocchia who is staying in Milan.  For the rest, Andrea Stramaccioni will rely on the Christmas Tree formation with the lone striker in Diego Milito assisted by the duo of Wesley Sneijder and Rodrigo Palacio.

For the midfield, the young coach will field three players: Esteban Cambiasso, Gaby Mudingayi and Fredy Guarin.  These three will have to protect the Inter defense especially in a hostile environtment where the opponents will be pretty much fired up by the fans.

    and why the heck coutinho is benched ? cambiasso or mudingayi one of them should be benched, Inter should start with the triangle: Palacio – Coutinho – Milito.
    Put Sneijder as a playmaker so he can control the tempo and try long shots in case we got deadlock there.

      we don’t have much choice for the CB, Chivu still be the best option here… and I prefer him, than ranocchia at the moment…
      Actually Stramaccioni need at least 2 DM, so Cambiasso and Mudingayi have to play from the start, for Guarin, he will move forward sometime to help the attack..
      And I agree with stramaccioni, Coutinho is better to play at the second half after Inter built their game… and yeah, I hope Guarin and Sneijder give their cannon shot (precisely..) and Palacio have his dream come true….

      Because not conceiding is the most important. If we need to change the game later I prefer to have a fresh joker in Cou to throw into the mix than Cambi or Mudi.

    4231 against 4321… I guess we’ll play counter attack…
    Even they’re motivated by the fans, we can drop their morale by possessing the ball, make them frustrated not get much time to play the ball and build the game.. but i don’t know Inter can play this or not… the 3 of DM shouldn’t force themselves to attack, i don’t know how well our defense can break their counter attack, but at least the 3 of DM can help the defense if needed… I don’t care how beauty they played, the most important is we can score… as many as possible… and prevent from conceded, or at least as few as possible…

    I don’t see we will play counter attach here even though we play with 3 “water carriers”. When opponent is attacking, we are more secure and when we attack, we will have 3 men up front, Millito, Palacio, and Guarin who is box-to-box midfielder. Can’t wait for the game…

      The reason why strama choose this formation is to prevent conceded, even it’s just Hajduk Split, but in their home side i don’t think it’ll be easy game, they’ll obviously will play their best… that’s mean we’ll strengthening our defense, and launch quick counter attack.. we only use 1 striker, it means we’re going to make our midfield and defence strong…

      It’s the concept of the game that come up in my mind while seeing the formation, i don’t know if the game would be like this or not…
      Nagatomo and Zanetti would have winger role while attack and close the wing movement of hajduk players while defense… Cambiasso and Mudingayi cover the defense from counter, and winning the ball to provide a pass to the front.. Silvestre and Chivu sometime go forward if we have set piece or corner, so i hope mudingayi and zanetti would stay at the back… guarin and sneijder will be the second line, palacio maybe will do some cross and cut inside the box to make a chance.. Maybe Milito will be the target man, but he can also sacrifice himself to give the others chance to score… I still hope Inter will have much ball possesion, cause if we have more possession, Split can’t build their game.. and Cou come up in second half, while Hajduk already less motivated, Cou in a fresh and good form will be dangerous…

    I think playing chivu is the only choice strama have. But benching coutinho and playing guarin would be bad for inter’s opposition
