In an lengthy interview with Sky, Massimo Moratti discusses on several topics starting with the new investors from China.
“I am very happen from my personal point of view. This is an investment from China, from one of the biggest Chinese companies and it is an investment for the future. All of this falls in the talks for the new stadium at a time that is not easy for anyone. Especially in our country. I believe that this is something important and can be repeated.”
Then the president expands on the details of the agreement.
“There is a small percentage that is tending to grow for investors as they join this group. The agreement is also based on new stadium, this is the focus. A very great stadium for Inter, the city of Milan, and for Europe because this is the first European investment from CRCC, a company that is known world wide.”
Then on Lucas, the player that is on the very top of Inter’s transfer target list.
“Lucas is expensive, perhaps his cost is even higher than the foreign investment (laughs). This is a different matter, a reinforcement for the team’s future and project. This year we are focusing on young players and a coach who is young and talented.”
On the Inter brand in the Asian market.
“There we have many fans between China, Indonesia and many other countries in that region. This agreement can be important in terms of the number of fans that we have, of interest for Inter and also from the commercial point of view. For the stadium, it has become a concrete project and there is a partner that knows how to do it. Now much left to be done such as finding the location but soon, Inter fans will have a new home for them all.”
