20-Player List For Croatia Trip: Out Longo

Here are the 20 players that have received a call-up for the trip to Split to face Hadjuk Split in the third qualifying round in the Europa League.

Goalkeepers: 1 Handanovic, 12 Castellazzi, 27 Belec

Defenders: 4 Zanetti, 6 Silvestre, 23 Ranocchia, 25 Samuel, 26 Chivu, 33 Mbaye, 42 Jonathan, 55 Nagatomo

Midfielders: 10 Sneijder, 14 Guarin, 16 Mudingayi, 19 Cambiasso, 24 Benassi

Strikers: 7 Coutinho, 8 Palacio, 22 Milito, 88 Livaja

A small surprise here is the absence of Samuele Longo.  The young striker, just today, has returned training regularly with the group (after a few days of working out separately) but Stramaccioni prefers to leave him in Milan so that he can fully recovery from a muscle strain.  So no problem with this absence and certainly it is not related to the transfer market.

      Longo and livaja should both b part of inter let the youngsters loose under the guidence of the mature players like Samuel milito cambiasso sniedjer

    This was a smart decision by Strama. Longo is better served staying home and training to get to 100%.
