Sky: Inter Still Believe In Lucas Thanks To… Mano Menezes

Inter are not giving up hope and still believe in the possibility of signing Lucas.  According to Sky, Inter are smiling thanks to the Brazilian national team coach Mano Menezes who is not using the Sao Paulo talent (only 7 minutes against Belarus).  With that, his price tag is not raising and Inter are waiting for the end of the Olympics in London in order to continue negotiating.  Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri are preparing the money needed for this signing by selling its players (Luc Castaignos for example).

Competition is strong especially from Manchester United but Inter still believe.

    I prefer lucas to play at the first half and not play good!!If that happens then Lucas from 30mill he will go to 20-25mill!!!

    inters success next season will not depend on lucas,, but i firmly believe it will increase our chanses against the big clubs,, what we need to do is start winning against the small teams,,, if we wouldve won thoose games like we should, we would not be in the euro league but in CL…
    and lets not forget that even tho we changed coach a couple of times, we still managed to get to the euro l… i dont think any other club in italy would do better if they were changing coaches 4 times in 2 seasons.. only pazza inter.

    ps. nuri sahin would be just as nice to have as lucas…

    Why don’t Inter make a move for Nani? If we had a dominant right-sided winger it would take a lot of pressure off of Milito; Nani could take on multiple defenders leaving more space for Milito to score. I think he could be bought for 20-21 million, he has two years left on his deal and wants out of Man U. We already have the money for him, we recently had a bid of 25 million for Lucas. When we sell Pazzini, we should get Capoue for a left-sided defensive mid. we can run a 4-2-3-1, Handanovic; Zanetti, Rano, Silvestre(Samuel is aging), Nagatomo; Guarin, Capoue; Nani, Seijder, Coutinho; Milito. This leaves as subs Ricky, Jonathan, Longo, Palacio, Cambiasso, Obi, Bessa, M’Baye, and Samuel. Inter need to make one big signing this season, to prove that we are serious about winning, I believe that Nani is the big signing.

      Nani is good, but he’s not cheap I believe, his wage also definitely not low, and it’s not sure he can settle well in Italy.

    I just lost hope when they screwed up poli deal ,and I’d get hulk over this guy any day I mean there are too many wingers which are like Lucas or maybe better like krasic or valencia we can get probably dimaria for this price.

      Exactly! I prefer Poli ahead any of these gossip guys. Sign Poli!! We have the money now. I wouldn’t mind Lucas coming to Inter though…

    I can’t believe we’re still pursuing Lucas, after we were humiliated by that stupid president of Sao Paulo. End this saga quickly, either by buying him or focusing on other BETTER and CHEAPER players.
