The Portuguese coach of Real Madrid Jose Mourinho is considering a sensational return of Wesley Sneijder in the Spanish capital.  According to El Mundo Deportivo, Mourinho sees Sneijder as an ideal alternative to Luka Modric of Tottentham for which negotiations are very difficult.  Real could offer Nuri Sahin, a transfer target of Inter, as part of the deal.

A rumor that needs confirmation besides the fact that Wesley Sneijder is considered an extremely important piece for Andrea Stramaccioni to build his team around.

If this is true, and we sell him, (which isn’t yet for sure because Sneijder has voiced his disdain for Madrid’s treatment of him several times before, which is why Mou is key in this)..we would lose our focal point, midfield maestro, stability, some chemistry, maybe even more tickets and a proven top world class player. We would then however, be able to acquire Sahin, which would help out allot (loan or buy), buy Lucas (even if we only get 10M in cash-part of a Sahin ownership+10-15M cash deal- thats all the cash we need on top of our current offer for Moura,) we’d further rejuvenate the squad, perhaps bring in tickets and shirt sales if big names do arrive, and so on and so forth. This could be a double edged sword this close to the serious games…nothings certain tho. we’ll see.

Well, not to mention we also drop his staggering 6.5 M a season wages-highest in Italy…Hmm if we can get a bid near 25M…it could definitely be worth it. who knows tho, with this management…

I think the best choice is to sell sneijder. He seems to have a good partnership with espessially cou, but his wages is crazy-high and I don’t think hes really that great to justify his wages (I think its reported to between 5-6mio a year). Remember last year, when sneijder got back? Inter went to straight lossess. And again in the celtic game we played badly and it was the first game with sneijder. I don’t think it’s a coincident.

I rather want alvarez to be great and I really like him, but sneijder have his place. This means sneijder rather than alvarez must leave.

With the money from sneijder we can buy lucas. Hopefully we can also buy a midfielder (sahin or Fernando, and I like Fernando a lot. A warrior kind of a mid.). A defender is also important and I don’t know why the interest in rolin has faded.

    A lineup for today and the next years to come can look like this: 4-2-3-1: handanovic; zanetti(4 ever), silvestre(juan), samuel(rolin), yuto(mBaye); guarin(gaby), cambo(fernando); palacio(lucas), alvarez(bessa?), cou(livaja); milito(pazzo/longo).

If there is injuries to cou or alvarez we could use 4-3-2-1: hand; JZ, Silvestre, Samuel, naga; cambo, guarin, Fernando; palacio, lucas/cou/alvarez; milito.

In my mind this is a great and strong lineup whitch is great today and for several years to come. Not to mention all the great primaveraplayers who is becoming old enough in some time: crisetig, Duncan, bessa, mbaye, livaja, longo, juan, di gennaro, obi. Backupplayers like: jonathan, chivu, maicon, rana, pazzo, gaby.

Inter have all the qualities to do great both in terms of sporting success and in the marcato. The success might not be immediate but within 2-3 years inter WILL be at the top of the table. Key words: new players, new stadium, new management, new rules (FFP) but the same mindset: determination, discipline, defence and great football.

juan isn’t from our primavera!!! 1st)Sneijder is a realy good playmaker!!! 2nd)When sneijder was playing we lost only 1 time and that was against lazio 3rd)The straight loses weren’t because of sneijder but they were because of ranieri bcs sneijder was still injured and was kept playing!BEFORE YOU WRRITE SOMEING IN A PUBLIC SITE FOR YOUR TEAM BETTER WRITE TRUE THINGS THAN THINGS FROM YOUR IMAGINATION!!!If you want sneijder out of inter just say it straight than write bullshit! But i want him to stay!
BTW next season try to watch the games cause sneijder under strama is awesome and with guarin playing he is MORE awesome!

I dont care where juan are coming from. My point is that hes a youthplayer like the rest listed. Dont be fixed on small details.. 1) I’m not saying sneijder is not good, I’m saying at the current situation at inter that he is not worth the salery hes getting. I guess from your name that youre from greece? You may know about financial decline then, right? 2) sneijder havent been the same since 2010. What did he do last year and not to mention this european cup with holland?
I watch EVERY inter-game and know very well what i see. Furthermore if you actually can read you can see that i wrote that he should be sold in the first line.. ;) if you watch football as good as you read i can see why you cant understand my view on the situation!
But if he stays and plays as good as you say i certanly would be glad, but he has to produce.
        Anyways forza inter!

  • Alex G.Meazza

Yeah but Wesley said two years ago when he was asked about possible return to Real Madrid ”Real? Never again”.

  • Luke Ha;;

Do not sell Sneijder, I have a feeling that this will be a good season for him.

  • ahmad

just sell milito and keep pazzini.then find another cheap striker. if it’s possible to get lucas, then i wont worry whoever the striker. imagine our midfileder filled by cou, sneijder, alvarez, palacio and lucas. i can deram to have a beautiful ball possesion. milito’s cycle is over besides he has high salary.

    • Lo Porto

When we needed somebody to step up last year, Milito was that guy and Pazzini did nothing. Milito needs to stay as long as we don’t have a #1 striker to take his place. He’s earned his spot much more more than anybody on the roster outside of Zanetti.

  • Lo Porto

If we really wanted to rebuild and go in a direction of youth, we would make this move. It’s risky, but getting Sahin, a bunch of money and saving a bunch in wages would be huge towards our FFP bid in the coming years.
A lot of people are talking about how Coutinho could be the future replacement for Wesley. If he’s ready (with Alvarez as the depth), then I say we should make this deal. We all know that Wesley is injury prone, and it’s not like he’s the most consistent player for us.

It’s a risky move, but we’re in the Europa this year and it’s a better time to rebuild than any I’ve seen in the past decade. If Madrid is willing to overspend, we need to take advantage.
